    Rear adjustable camber arms

I run zero toe front and rear. Nothing wrong with less than stock toe and your tires will wear better. It won't be quite as stable, but shouldn't be a problem. Alignment looks good to me. I also had my car aligned with weight in the drivers seat.

Highland suspension on 2019 Model 3

It's on Tesla website and most of the reviews with an exploded view. The cast aluminum knuckle is different too. Shorter level at the steering arm mount. Not sure on any other modifications, but I bet they changed it slightly in other ways from the LR.

Highland suspension on 2019 Model 3

The adjuster is built into the side of the shock and controlled with a solenoid valve. It needs inputs from the main ECU to operate it.

MY 2024 Refresh - Project Juniper?

Add to that fact that the ramp has been slow and they don't have enough parts to make 3's. Model Y facelift is a way off IMO.

Model 3 Highland Performance/Plaid Speculation [Car announced 04.23.2024]

I think it's smart that Tesla lowered the price. Each unit sold is basically all profit. Sell as much as you can.

Discussion: All Season Vs Summer Tires

High performance AS tires are the same price as summer tires.

Discussion: All Season Vs Summer Tires

Has anyone tried the Ion evo AS and Pilot sport 4 AS? Really looking for a comparison of the at the limit handling.

Discussion: All Season Vs Summer Tires

I used to do a lot of autoX and ran 200 tread wear tires year round including the snow. I was a starving collage student and couldn't afford a second set, plus I was in an apartment with no storage. Then I drove from PA to CA and hit an ice storm with 50% worn race tires because I was going to...

Highland suspension on 2019 Model 3

Suspension computer controlled so probably not.

Demuro won't be for a while. I expect carwow is working on it now

Discussion: All Season Vs Summer Tires

Why aren't you on dot race slicks? You are giving up so much performance! 2 sets of tires is the best setup but not always convenient or necessary. PS4 AS tires are so good that I can run them year round even if I would prefer ps4s for the summer.

Discussion: All Season Vs Summer Tires

Having variable conditions and running a tire that's good but not the best is easy and requires no storage or switching of wheels. Plus ultra high performance all season tires are so good now.

2024 Model 3 Performance Announced - Discussion thread post announcement

Venting was subtle, but noticeable and quite. My Honda Odyssey venting is louder. Padding is maybe a little firmer or the same as regular seats(only 500 miles on the car). It had lumbar that function identical to the old seats.

2024 Model 3 Performance Announced - Discussion thread post announcement

I just went and checked it out. Seats are nice, very comfortable. More of a comfort sport seat than a track seat put in a road car like BMW or Porsche. Should fit most body types and I liked the venting.

Model 3 Highland Performance/Plaid Speculation [Car announced 04.23.2024]

Improves efficiency vs larger tires all around for a performance car.
  18. S

Model 3 Highland Performance/Plaid Speculation [Car announced 04.23.2024]

It's worse on a road course. Staggered is for range. The smaller front helps lower the frontal area. On a 50/50 AWD car the tires should all be the same size

2024 Model 3 Performance Announced - Discussion thread post announcement

The days of 10K software performance upgrades are over. Max would be 2k, but the M3P doesn't have any battery overhead. I suspect it will just be added when its finished.

Model 3 Highland Performance/Plaid Speculation [Car announced 04.23.2024]

I have seen that in low grip situations, stability at -9 is actually better as it keeps the car inside it's happy place and never fully cuts power. -10 can let it get outside tesla's parameters and do weird things. Any feedback on this?

2024 Model 3 Performance Announced - Discussion thread post announcement

Just like all Tesla's, this one is not fully baked, but good enough at launch. That's the reason no 0-60 or 1/4 mile testing. It's going to get better. CyberTruck is still waiting on too many OTA updates to critical features. I am going to check it out today as my local store has one. I...

Are you satisfied with the range you get?

This is the best possible thing you can do for the battery in your car. It's exactly what I do too. It's all about time at charge level. Never store any battery at a high state of charge.

Model 3 Highland Performance/Plaid Speculation [Car announced 04.23.2024]

Only slightly better in everyway. huge disappointment. :) I'm glad they spent some money and time on the suspension. That's what it really needed. If you are in the market for a new sports sedan then this is still the best one for the price.

Model 3 Highland Performance/Plaid Speculation [Car announced 04.23.2024]

I want a Street mode that has everything in track mode, but doesn't turn on all the extra cooling. I also want it to be switchable on the fly.

Autocross- SCCA EV-X Class vs. SS

My model y has .66 front spring/shock ratio and .6 rear spring with .87 shock. I have a handy spreadsheet that can calculate the preload needed for a given spring rate and natural frequencies. It's great for finding your height range with shorter springs.

    Model Y Suspension Advice

Zevcentric in Fremont is a Tesla specialist. It's no different than any other car, any shop should be able to do it.

Model Y Performance 21" Tires - Larger, More Comfortable Fitment Details and Experience - Michelin AS4's (With Photos)

Lowing the car on springs has zero effect on the max compression travel. The suspension will bottom out in the exact same place. You can get a little bit of extra compression in the rear with coilovers but then you need to test your combo by fully compressing the suspension without a spring...

Model Y Performance 21" Tires - Larger, More Comfortable Fitment Details and Experience - Michelin AS4's (With Photos)

If you replace all your tires with ones that are larger it should have no effect on your alignment. The suspension doesn't care about tire size. I always have an alignment with new tires to maximize the life, but if you just had an alignment with new tires swapping them to other good...

    Model Y Suspension Advice

when you adjust dampers you ALWAYS go full stiff and back off the same number of clicks. going to beyond full open can damage some dampers. The damping also starts to diverge the further you get from full closed. Coils that close will contact and need some sort of rubber bumper or they will...

    Rear spoiler suggestions

stock? Part of it is getting the paint prep right and heating up the spoiler to make sure it's molded to the car.
  44. S

    Alignment question

The tires effect the alignment, you want to get it after the tires are installed. Alignment has a pretty large effect on how the car drives and handles. It also has a huge effect on tire wear. A good alignment makes everything better, so I tend to make sure mines perfect.
  45. S

What Would Compel You To Upgrade to a Future Model X?

They are overly complicated and prone to misalignment. They also compromise the structure of the roof decreasing the rigidity, leading to increase rattles and NVH. I personally don't like waiting for doors to open and don't want to fix them when they break. It's a deal breaker for me. Also I...
  46. S

Are you satisfied with the range you get?

I get terrible range, but I get terrible range in gas too. I guess driving full throttle all the time and doing 90+ mph on the highways isn't good for economy. 🤷‍♂️

Newer Ohlins TES MX00S1 on my 21 MYP, review lite.

I have these shocks paired with a 11k rear spring and they are near perfect for street use. Set to stock MYP ride height.

22MYP Suspension Upgrade third party or new 23 comfort suspension?

New ohlins street suspension has damn near perfect damping. The rear spring should be increased to a 10 or 11kg. I have it and it's fantastic.
