MY DS called today.... initial delivery was week of March 9th. He said my car is out of production and will be in SD Thursday afternoon if I wanted to pick it Friday Morning. I'm very happy to be getting an early delivery, this is going to be a fun weekend!

I just looked at my order and the PDF has already updated pictures showing the Executive rear seats. I think it looks awesome! A special thanks to Nate at the UTC store for making the change and staying on top of everything!

When the Tesla rep called to explain how the next gen seats wouldn't fold totally flat and did I want to switch to the original, I told him I wanted to upgrade to the Executive seats. He said ok, and he was going to note the change. I really hope it's going to be that easy!

I was also thinking I was the only one! I LOVE the look and comfort of the wider executive rear seats, changed my order as soon as I saw them. I really have no need for THAT much "cargo" If I can't fit what I need in the trunk and frunk I clearly need to re-think what I am packing...

I just got my Vin. 73793 last week and I am still showing March. When they called yesterday regarding the back seat preference I requested an upgrade to the new executive seats so I am preparing for a change to April but fingers crossed that doesn't happen!

Today I got the call, exactly the same script about the fold down issue. I told him I really liked the look of the executive seats and would prefer changing the NG to the Exec. He said "ok, I"ll make a note of it" That was easy, thanks Tesla!

This is the first post where I've seen the offer to upgrade to executive seats. Has anyone else been given this option?
