You said that better than I did. All this stuff that isn't necessary, the doors, the wind shield, the second row seats - make the car more expensive and harder to build, cause the delays, cause the high price. Customers will disappear and Tesla will be on their way to bankrupcy in 12 months.

The Outlander isn't sold in the US. X5 40e was supposed to arrive in Q4 but still isn't shown on their website. The Audi Q6 etron doesn't have a release date either. So is the Cayenne the only PHEV available right now?

If you're in a hurry, 72A makes no difference; you need CHAdeMO or better a supercharger. If you are charging over night, 48A is plenty

Sure. $5k above base Model S price. That will get you a Model X 70D. With nothing. And in maybe a year. And if you want the car now you need a P90D with some extras that are "automatic" and you are at a really high price - like more than six figures.

P89xx here. Cacnelled my reservation yesterday after playing with the configuration thingy. I'm not going to wait another year for a Model X. Too little, too expensive, too late.

Seems likely the case. If this had been something they had planned longer it would have shown up in the Model S (maybe with the 'D's)

The continued delays in Model X delivery and tons of technical issues with the over-engineered parts will cause a massive drop in orders and a wide spread exit from Tesla.

I think people are underestimating the risk of frustrating the customer base. If Tesla isn't careful this will turn into a stampede to the exit.

I really want to learn how to dive. The pictures are amazing.

There are a ton of missed opportunities with both apps. But it's a matter of opportunity cost - the cost of working on the phone apps vs. working on the firmware. I just wish they'd have spent the energy to provide for a supported SDK and let the market create amazing apps.

How disappointed are people going to be when he talks about the changes that have made it into 6.0 and 6.1 and then makes more vague promises about navigation in 6.2 and 6.3 and then it's a wrap... No hidden batteries, no better algorithms, no major partnership. That's my prediction.
