There is also thew ability to control the passager seat from the rear screen, the car controls showing up on the Home Screen and auto heated steering wheel (though arguably not super needed in the coming months).

I've definitely paid for it. By queue I meant the option in the car's UI to be in line to receive the beta. I'm debating getting off of it to enjoy the benefits of the more current firmware updates if it is going to be a while anyway before I get the beta.

Yes, it will but in the meantime, when you've paid that much for something, you kinda expect something out of it. Beta would suffice for me but I don't even have that. And what's frustrating is that I had it on the Tesla I traded in!

Thanks and sorry. My question wasn’t clear. I understand the Basic AP, EAP and FSD differences. The X I just traded in had the FSD beta. I thought FSD enrolment was automatic or instantaneous now but on my new S, the only option is to request it. I’m on 2023.2.10. Is the beta not in wide release?

Ditto. Went with inventory S. Picking it up tomorrow. Saving was 12K Canadian. And Tesla has the extra 7K off for trade ins of S or X with FUSC, which I do. Not sure how long that offer will last. Won’t get HW4 but am willing to trade off potentially better FSD in the future for the deal.

Test drove a refreshed LR S. Tried insane mode. Fast for sure but noticed less of an initial kick than what I remember from my old P85D. Just me or common knowledge? If the case, is it because the old Ds had more powerful motors in the back and now they are more even?
