If you see the pricing, e.g. AUDI charges $2200 for similar features. MB driver assistance package is $2100. The additional $300 or $400 that Tesla charges for the promise of more features is well worth it.

In my opinion, the current $2,500 package already does what BMW/MB/AUDI offer for similar price levels. So whatever additional features are added via software update are really a bonus.

I take delivery of my 70D on Friday. Looking forward to the weekend !

Just checked and I see 'Your Model S is in transit from the factory'! I have chosen delivery at the Fremont factory so this is possibly just a generic message. Excited now.

My 70D went into production today. Ordered April 12th, Confirmed April 15th. Delivery at Fremont factory.
