Agreed. I have my P100D Model S which now has MCU2, Autopilot 3.0, Free Supercharging and the 2 rear facing seats. The new Model S needs to be that, NEW.

If this is the extent of a “refresh” I won’t be buying the plaid.

When I brought my Tesla I was never told the MCU performance would decrease over time! This situation kind of makes me think of how old apple iPhones have slowed down. I now Tesla are not doing this intentionally (or at least I think not!) but they need to sought out MCU1 so as a minimum it is...

I got mine fixed today and the yellow boarders seem to have gone 100%. Tesla used the “tool”.

I think it won't be long now until an upgrade option is given for MCU1 to MCU2.

I think it will happen. Whenever I have spoken to the service centres it seems they agree it's coming bit don't know when.

Elon said it will happen so it will happen. Have faith.

I’m certain the upgrade option will be soon. Every time I call Tesla Service they say “not available yet.” I think it’s just a matter of time.

I think (hope) the upgrade will be made available alongside V10 update. Seems most logical step.

I was at my local service centre today and am engineer working there mentioned to me that a new improved touchscreen was going to be released and also offered as a retrofit option. I suffer from the yellow boarder issue, hence, how this conversation started. Does anyone else know about this?
