    2021.12.25.7

With 2021.12.25.7 my main screen crashes and then the windows don't work. I usually have to reboot twice to get the windows to open/close. I wonder what else is crashing at the same time. This the buggiest release I've gotten since 2016.

Blog Tesla Will Move HQ Out of California After Fight Against Health Order

Musk proves himself to be, just another billionaire, that cares more about collecting more money, for himself. Than caring about people and the planet. The shutdown is saving lives, Musk has proved that no billionaire gives a *sugar* about their workers.

    Firmware 8.0

Tesla needs to add a button to report an incorrect speed limit in google maps.
  10. pchilds

    Firmware 8.0

As long a Tesla can't be 100% accurate with the speed limits, they have no business being autopilot nannies. If the car doesn't know or has the wrong speed limit, I should be able to override their defective data. After all I am still the one responsible for the driving.

    Firmware 8.0

Tesla needs to add the option to report back to the mothership incorrect speed limits. Hit a button, select the speed limit and hit send. There are so many errors, it is a joke.

    Firmware 8.0

Today my center screen started rebooting, it rebooted about six times in a row. Don't know if it is 8.0 related, this is the third time I have driven since getting 8.0. The S connected tried to connect to a Starbucks WiFi just before it started.

Car will not allow reengagement of Autosteer until parked if user ignores repeated warnings

Are you saying that tugging on the wheel to cancel the warning is ignoring the warning? I would think that ignoring the warning, would be to do nothing and get the next warning and after the next warning, the emergency flashers come on and the car slows and comes to a stop. Tugging the wheel is...

    Tesla to J1772 Adapter?

I will be getting two, one for home, now I can share the circuit between the model S and the RAV4 EV, using the new HPWC, and one to keep in the RAV4 EV for destination charging. I can boost the 200 volts, at most destination charging locations, up to 250 volts and get the full 10kW charge...

Park Assist just ruined my front bumper - cut too short!

I could tell that he was going to hit the pickup, before it hit, I guess I am the only one here that is not blind or blinded by wanting to make Tesla responsible for this driver's actions.

Park Assist just ruined my front bumper - cut too short!

From the Tesla model S owners manual, page 80. Warning: During the parking sequence, continually check your surroundings. Park Assist just ruined my front bumper - cut too short!

You setting in the car and let it hit another vehicle without intervening? Why would you do that? Were you watching a movie, texting, sleeping? Sorry, I don't get it? How is this Tesla's fault?

Be honest: is SCing on a long trip annoying?

Until last week, I hadn't bought gas since mid 2011. It took me 20 minutes to buy 2 gallons, pumping gas is often slower than Supercharging. Why is it that people only want to count ideal fill up times, not real world times?

A Public Letter to Mr. Musk and Tesla For The Sake Of All Tesla Driver's Safety

I do this all the time, AP gets too close to the line, road edge or curb and I correct, but, not enough to disable AP and the car seems to go the direction I want. Different people have different levels of risk tolerance. Why should I be restricted from using AP, just because someone else is...

    Autopilot: Crashed at 40mph

Yes it is! Every time you ride or drive in a car there is risk. The risk with Autopilot is less than without. 30k people die in car accidents every year, the accidents that are most likely to cause death are high speed head on and rollover accidents. None of the Autopilot screw ups, would...

    Autopilot: Crashed at 40mph

I got my model S in January 2016, At that time AP would randomly steer out of the lane and it would never stop, coming up on a stopped car. Today it stays in the lane 100% and stops for the stopped car 50-75% of the time. You have to pay attention, if you don't, don't blame Tesla. Remember...

Anyone ever have TACC refuse to engage? I found a half mile section of road the won't let me use AP or TACC. Two lane each direction, divided road, the road has been around for 20+ years. It really sucks to have to steer and push the peddle for a half mile.
