I saw something that said it was $35 (at the service center). Still true?

In a brazen robbery caught on camera, a person jumped out of a car in San Francisco’s South of Market neighborhood on Friday and smashed the rear window of a Prius, stealing a bag with what police said was filled with a drone and camera equipment.
I tried enabling screen clean mode, which i believe use to cause the whole screen to go back, but now shows a permanent, bright white, message saying to hold for 5 seconds to exit.
I saw this notification pop up, a hard reboot fixed it and it hasn't happened again.
Setup a service appointment, see an estimate for approx $250 ("Correction Remote Education" and "Correction General Diagnosis").
Should this be covered under warranty? The appt is next week.

I knew that cars with ceramic coating need not be waxed, but wasn't sure if there would be any negative consequences to doing it.
