I had this problem. I brought the car in for HW 3.0 upgrade. They did the upgrade first, then tried to produce the noise, but weren't able to produce it. Haven't heard it since. Not sure what it was.

What tools are guys using to remove the bolts from the front seat rails? T47 torx bit is too large, and I stripped those bolts in the past with T45 and had to pay $120 for Tesla to remove them.

My July 2018 3LR charges to 300-302 @ 100%. Tesla service center says there are no issues.

2720 miles, received in July 2018. Around 250-260 wh/mi I was getting 300 miles @100% After calibrating by dropping to 7%, it went to 302. I'm going to try calibrating once again, and if it doesn't change much, I give up.

No it will not. I have taken my car into two different service centers and each time I have informed them that I have PPF in case they wash my car. They didn't have any problems with it.

So I bought it up and they took note of it, however they said this is a known issue that Tesla is working on. They will resolve it future with a firmware update, which I'm kind of skeptical of if it's a hardware problem.

Interesting theory. I just brought my car into service for this (again) and maybe I can bring this up. I do want to mention for the people who are unplugging the speaker, I was told that this speaker is where the collision alerts comes out of so it may not be safe to unplug.

I have the same problem. In my case, it is not the actual lid making the noise. I noticed that the latch that holds the lid is making the noise. Holding the armrest down does stop the noise. Sometimes it stops making noise for a while, then comes back. I'm not sure how to go about fixing this...

Does anyone know how the door sill plate is attached? Is it adhesive? If it is adhesive, then if removed, what's the best way to reattach it? I have a paint chip around that area and my local body shop brought up this concern.

I had my front window tinted and I thought all those specks were dust that got under the tint when they were installing it. Now I'm not sure at all. I have already tried clay bar on my windshield which did not help.

So they replaced the MCU...but the noise came back when I was parking my car in my garage.

Apparently they are going to replace my MCU to fix this issue, which is surprising to me. I guess I will find out if that actually fixes the issue after I get the car back and drive it around.
