Supercharger - Mesa, AZ - S Signal Butte Road

I did the trip with the Lightning and the boat over the weekend, maybe try the Cytbertruck next weekend. The truck made it to the lake with 48% battery left which was much better than I expected. I planned on charging at the EA charging station on the way home but there were people in line...

Supercharger - Mesa, AZ - S Signal Butte Road

That one would work if I took an alternate route, but the Apache Junction one would be really ideal. Crossing my fingers for that one. I also have a Ford Lightning and probably just use that so I don't have to drive further away. There's an EA station on the East side of Gilbert, much closer...

Supercharger - Mesa, AZ - S Signal Butte Road

Just found this link, I'll be towing my boat from Tucson to Canyon Lake all summer, this location is perfect for me. Hopefully something happens soon.

Supercharger - Gilbert, AZ - N Higley Rd (cancelled)

I'm searching the internet for Superchargers on my route for boating from Tucson to Canyon Lake and came across this link. Does anyone know if anything is planned for this area, or why the Tesla app says the Mesa location says temporary closure. The Tesla website does not list it as closed. I...

Going on a 500 mile trip and the car and ABRP are totally different. Looking for advice.

Yes, I still need to get on a level road for a few minutes and see what 65mph says.

Going on a 500 mile trip and the car and ABRP are totally different. Looking for advice.

In town I can can get better than the advertised rage of about 205 watts per mile (240 miles). I usually avg 185 watts per mile during the week. But freeway driving I’m averaging 267 watts at 80mph or so, the 172 miles is my range on the freeway.

Going on a 500 mile trip and the car and ABRP are totally different. Looking for advice.

My usable kw at 100% per Scan My Tesla says 46.1 so 172 miles range to 0%. So I have to stop in Buckeye, if I went through Gila Bend and Temecula, it would take a lot longer to get to Anaheim Hills. Hopefully next weekend I can get one of those 250kw stations in Buckeye.

Going on a 500 mile trip and the car and ABRP are totally different. Looking for advice.

If I do stop in Buckeye again. I will try to get one of those chargers. Quartsite is closer than Ehrenburg so that’s why I would try to make it there. I may try to drive slower and see what happens next weekend and I also may stop in Eloy and see how much I can top off that could get me from...

Going on a 500 mile trip and the car and ABRP are totally different. Looking for advice.

Yes I did move to a different plug and a couple others were only getting in the 70's as well. It seems everytime I stop in Buckeye it's like that. And I'd like to bypass Indio and stop at Cabazon anyways, besides slow charging in Indio, it's usually a 10 or so minute line. I see they installed...

Going on a 500 mile trip and the car and ABRP are totally different. Looking for advice.

My avg watts per mile ended up being round trip were 267 and cruise control set to 80 pretty much the whole time. Both driving out of town and coming back there's issues in Buckeye and Indio. It ends up taking about 10 minutes longer than the car states. Buckeye would only get 70 something kw...

Going on a 500 mile trip and the car and ABRP are totally different. Looking for advice.

That's how I used to drive my S, I'd go sometimes fast as long as I'd get to the next stop wit 5-10%. Maybe the car is correct, cause I'm at Buckeye and tried a couple stations and only getting 48kw. Pulled in with 22%, should be getting way more then 48Kw. Others here same as well, plus I'm on...

Going on a 500 mile trip and the car and ABRP are totally different. Looking for advice.

and I'm trying to figure out what's the best speed to go at to get me to my destination the quickest. and the model S I would try to go as fast as I can to get me to the charger with 5 to 8%. i have SMT so I can test my wattage at different speeds

Going on a 500 mile trip and the car and ABRP are totally different. Looking for advice.

yes those charger at Culver's is Casa Grande, my first stop is Buckeye which is where I've always stopped at for my first stop in my Model S.I'll just do this drive and see how it goes.

Going on a 500 mile trip and the car and ABRP are totally different. Looking for advice.

Yes I have standard range in there. I think it’s the car that’s incorrect. I used to do this drive all the time in my old Model S that Tesla reduced the charge rate and it was about exactly what the M3 is saying. I’m pretty sure the faster charging of the M3 and a much lighter efficient car as...

Going on a 500 mile trip and the car and ABRP are totally different. Looking for advice.

I’m driving to California and it’s 470 miles. My 2021 short range M3 is telling me there’s three stops at 40 minutes each. ABRP is telling me three stops but one is 18 minutes one is 20 and one is 15 minutes. I have all the default settings in there and don’t know why they’re such a discrepancy...

Looking for a M3 roof shade without clips

I used to have an old Model S and I loved the cheap Amazon roof shade it had. There were no clips and it came on and off in seconds. I think the Tesla one has clips attached, but just seeing if there’s a less expensive one out there without clips and colored white. A few people I know have one...

    Standard autopilot question

I calibrated the cameras and the camera is working now. Drove for a few miles and autopilot is working again, FSD says "additional cameras calibrating (94%)." So hopefully tomorrow it'll be working again.

    Standard autopilot question

I did download and it is 2022.44.30.10. I was able to use FSD Beta and I have to admit, it was pretty awesome but it was stressful and the car did many things I didn’t like It didn’t slow down for speed bumps, even some that had chevron marks on them. One time making a left, I had to...

    Standard autopilot question

I got it figured out. I remember a prior post said something about getting 100 miles first. Went through the menus and yes, I have to get 100 miles first on autosteer. Bust this weekend and probably take me another week or so to get 100 miles. Thank you very much. Last night it said there was...

    Standard autopilot question

I’m pretty sure it said FSD Beta when I was confirming everything. I first went into the update screen and subscribed to FSD and I think it said Beta. But everything in the autopilot screen I agreed to and I’m pretty sure it said Beta. But on the subscription it just said FSD Also, when...

    Standard autopilot question

I subscribed to FSD to try it out. I don’t know what’s wrong. I confirmed to all the disclaimers, it’s saying Autosteer is unavailable, It won’t turn right/left at the light when supposed to follow the route. At every light even if green it says keep the accelerator on to cross the light...

    Standard autopilot question

I may try it for a month, question though. It says Autosteer on city streets coming later this year. Isn’t FSD already steering on streets ? And is it for 30 days or 1st to 1st. Wanted to wait until the weekend since I’m working 12hrs all week and if I did it this weekend, that would give me a...

    Standard autopilot question

Perfect, thank you. Since I’ll be able increase the speed limit to the flow of traffic, I think I’m going to try it for a month 😁. Thank you again
  27. J

    Standard autopilot question

Thank you very much, I definitely am not paying 15k for FSD, but wouldn’t mind trying it for a month for $200. if I subscribe for a month, how do I request beta? And I’m a very cautious driver, I just want to be with the flow of traffic. So I’d always being paying attention. Thank you.

    Standard autopilot question

I just bought a 2021 M3 and absolutely love it. Used to have a old MS pre-autopilot. Been playing with it and it will only allow autopilot up to 5mph over the speed limit. The major road I take to work is 35mph for several miles and the avg traffic speed is 45-50mph. Everyone was getting pissed...

Looking for a Model 3 2019 or later in AZ or within 500 miles or so.

I am still looking, and wanted a 2019 or newer but looked at a 2018 mid-range yesterday for 32k with 34k miles. I’ve been debating on white/black interior. This one was blue with black interior. I think I prefer the white. Going to look this weekend in Phoenix at a few more, if I can’t find...

Question about the used EV rebate

I read this and have two questions about it. Is the 25k base price, or after taxes/fees? And is says can only be claimed once every 3 years. Is that for the used rebate, or any rebate. I'm hoping the Cybertruck will be delivered next year and it woudl be a shame to lose that rebate. I also...

Looking for a Model 3 2019 or later in AZ or within 500 miles or so.

Thank you for the info, I’m really trying to stay 30-35k if I get don’t get the X. For 43k, I think I’d just put another 10k and get the X which is what I really want.

Looking for a Model 3 2019 or later in AZ or within 500 miles or so.

I was originally looking for a X and I found a pretty good deal on a 2019 100D 70k miles with Raven motors/suspension for just under 60k. I’m now thinking of investing some of the money and switching to a 3. I had a older S and loved it and wanting to get back into electric. Looking for the...

Looking for a older Model S, can prices really be this low. Found a 2016 P90D for $30,800 with only 37k miles

Yes, I agree 100%, the address doesn't look like a car dealer. And all the cars they list for sale, the photos have different backgrounds from different places. And on the dealer network website, when you click to go to that dealers website, it says blocked...

Looking for a older Model S, can prices really be this low. Found a 2016 P90D for $30,800 with only 37k miles

I'm looking to buy an older S, I sold my 2014 P95+ a while ago and miss it and looking for another similar car. I found this one and not even sure if it's real. It seems way underpriced. And on the dealers website, they have several other vehicles that seem too inexpensive, like G wagons for 30k...

Towing Camper with Model S 85D?

I had a 2014 P85+ and bought a small 16ft boat about the same weight at the camper your looking at. I installed the Stealth eco hitch (the 2k one) and picked up the boat with it and had to drive 150 miles home with it. It wasn't fun at all. The Tesla pulled it like there was nothing there, but...

Can my Gen3 Tesla wall connector charge a car with a J1772

It says "ALL VEHICLES" is the default. So I'm guessing all I have to do is plug in the car with the Lectron adapter and my wall connector will charge any car with a J1772.

Can my Gen3 Tesla wall connector charge a car with a J1772

I have a Gen3 wall connector and possibly getting a inexpensive electric car. Somewhere I read that you can setup the charging startion from Tesla to all, or something like that. And you go to add products in the Tesla app. I’m my app, there’s only options for another car or power wall...

    Model S Trailer Hitch Installation

My Tesla did tow the boat with total ease and it was great. If the lake was 50 miles away, I totally would’ve kept the Tesla and make it work. But 150-175 miles to the closest decent lakes was just too inconvenient for me.

    Model S Trailer Hitch Installation

Driving the boat home 160 miles took almost two extra hours. And the last 50 miles I was driving 50-55 in a 75mph zone (everyone does 90 anyways) just to keep the car saying I’ll get home with 4% if I remember correctly. The closest decent lake is 150 miles away, and it was just too complicated...

    Model S Trailer Hitch Installation

Thank you, the miles are already up there. Bought it last week with 98k and already have 99k. It was a one owner car and taken to the dealer for everything. I would’ve bought a Y, but just too expensive right now. I just needed something now to pull the boat 300 miles almost every weekend and...

    Model S Trailer Hitch Installation

Wow, that hitch is much beefier. Mine is still in the box. Pulling the boat 150 miles to the lake most weekends was just going to be too stressful on calculations and having to stop twice for 40-50 minutes. I absolutely I love my Tesla but I ended up trading it in for a Porsche Cayenne diesel...
