Evannex Tesla Model S Car Cover

This car cover claimed to be for indoor or outdoor use, but when it rained more than a drizzle, water leaked through at the seams. This would work perfectly fine as an indoor cover though. As you can see by the pictures, water leaked through at the seam over the trunk. It is in need of a good...

SuperCharger - Richmond, VA off Laburnum Ave.

I don't think that is correct. I believe it is going to be in the parking lot between JC Penny and Lowes. There are some marking on the pavement and grass. I posted pictures in the other thread. It also matches the site plan posted in the other thread for this charger.

    Supercharger - Richmond, VA

Based on the site plan graphic from Ross, I was able to find the spot in the parking lot. Here are a few pictures. It looks like some things have already been marked. There are tons of stores and restaurants a short walk away.

    Supercharger - Richmond, VA

It's not all that random. I live 10 minutes from this location and I can't want for it to be built. It's right off I64 and near the intersection with I95. We do most of our shopping here so it will be awesome to charge while we shop. I can keep a close eye on it's construction status when it...

Very Interesting Model S 1st Gen Autopilot Observation

Haha yep. I usually rest my hand on the bottom of the wheel when autopilot is on and it usually does not detect it and asks me to hold the wheel. I'm interested to see if you have the same results as I did with changing your position in the seat. I'd imagine the seat sensor must be towards the...

Very Interesting Model S 1st Gen Autopilot Observation

Definitely was not touching the accelerator when changing position. It must have something to do with the seat sensor as Barry commented above.

Very Interesting Model S 1st Gen Autopilot Observation

No, I definitely did not touch any of the pedals. The only difference was change in my seating position. I tested it several times moving back and forth. I was very careful not to change anything else.

Very Interesting Model S 1st Gen Autopilot Observation

Last weekend, my wife and and drove home from Cincinnati, OH to Richmond, VA. We were on a long, strait, flat highway in Ohio with autopilot on. Sitting upright in the seat as I normally would, the car tells me to hold the steering wheel once every few minutes, give or take. A ways into this...

FYI Your (And my) Model S can do this...

That's awesome! I'm planning on putting some extra padding under where the pedal would dig into the floor. Definitely going to put things around them to make sure they don't damage any of the interior. It is very handy to have the frunk and the lower trunk compartment as well!

FYI Your (And my) Model S can do this...

Heading to the beach next week and taking our bikes. I was very surprised at how easy it was to get two bikes in the back with room to spare! I did not want to hurt the range drastically with an exterior rack.

This is fantastic! Driving Richmond to Cincinnati later this month and this Supercharger will make it so much easier!!

Need advice on rear bumper scrapes

My rear bumper had a little run in with a brick retaining wall. I was backing out of my driveway, and must have ever so slightly grazed the wall you see in the 3rd picture. I did not realize until I parked back in the driveway and went to plug her in. I have already used touch up paint, but as...

    Interesting Observation with TACC

I completely agree. I did not have auto pilot on. I tried it for about 2 minutes and realized it could not handle the curvy road.

    Interesting Observation with TACC

    Yes it does. It's a late 2015 S85D.

    Interesting Observation with TACC

My wife and I were driving on the Skyline Drive in Virginia and I noticed something very interesting with TACC. The Skyline Drive is a relatively windy mountain top road with a speed limit of 35mph in the Shenandoah National Park. I set TACC to 40mph and as we went around sharp curves, the TACC...

    Question about internet connectivity...

I purchased a slightly used 2015 S85D about two weeks ago and I love the in car internet features like Slacker radio, web browser, etc. Can someone please let me know if they free forever or for a certain period of time? Thanks in advance for the info!

    Folding in side mirrors on-demand?

Requesting Advice to Decide Between New S 60D vs Used 85D

I'm not a race car driver either, but the acceleration of our 85D will never get old. My parents have a 2014 85 which has similar acceleration to the 60D and it is still quick, but it doesnt compare to our 85D.

Requesting Advice to Decide Between New S 60D vs Used 85D

My wife and I just had to make this exact decision. After weighing all the pros and cons just as you have, we went with a late 2015 85D with very low mileage. We have owned it for just a few days now but could not be happier! We like to take road trips so the range was a big factor.
