Is manual updated? IIRC, when I read manual (about 1.5 yr ago) there was no statement of "tunnel". It only said "divided highway" which also applies to SR-99 tunnel

I think "coverage" is more important than demand. Tesla should cover most of territory first, then put supplementary charger. it's shameful to say "I cannot (or risky) go Paradise in Mt. Rainier with my Tesla" while Rainier NP is one of the most visited NP in the country.

Average winter temperature (around 40F?), range mode on, cabin temp 70~72 If you drive +10 mph all the time, energy consumption would be same as me. (I was slowed down by traffic near Everett, Marysville, and border)

I do that regularly in Winter with my X 75D, you should have no issue. I generally travel between Bellevue - Whistler, and it took 50kWh from Bellevue - Surrey SC. This is photo that I took at Surrey SC, "trip Whistler" started from Bellevue (near Issaquah SC)

I heard there's a lot of same signs especially on crowded SCs. My friend in Bay Area told me that.

It's already overflowing at the peak time. As of 18:20 on Friday, I just took the last spot. I'm under the impression that average charging time is much longer than supercharger for road trip. Maybe most people want to charge close to 100% - while people generally charge just enough to hit next...

Based on Lynnwood thread It took 10 days between transformer installation and service operation. But not sure same timeframe would applies Issaquah.

The last status I remember was just "late 2018" without fall. I haven't seen specific deadline yet like this. But I still think it's hard to meet "fall" deadline :P

yayyy~~ finally, I'll be able to hit Whistler with single charge! I'm not sure about Tesla's policy or recommendations, but I'm under the impression they're avoiding to build non-urban charger in metropolitan area. (with few exceptions)

Installing 110v outlet/EV charger in ski area (or wilderness area) is more difficult than we think. Extending 7kWh power cable for L2 charger is not cheap, also outlet's should be water/weather-proof.

I’m more worried about “peak” demand, especially in winter time. This is the only supercharger which will handle two popular ski areas. Also in summer time, it’s the only charger to Sunrise, Mt. Rainier. (Until the opening of Enumclaw SC)

Whoa, didn't see this coming! As X75D owner and ski lover Seattleite, I always had to stop two superchargers (Burlington & Squamish) when I hit Whistler. This will reduce my stops to single! Such a nice location.

I'm more worried about occupied with Teslas especially in peak ski season. This "waypoint" is heading for two popular ski area in WA. (Crystal and Snoqualmie) As I've seen in fully occupied Whistler Supercharger, same thing could happen to here since there's 8 urban chargers.

Adding my two cents: if your electricity company is Puget Sound Energy, supercharging is more expensive then home charging. (still far more cheaper than gas, of course)

I just noticed "weird" layout in this station. unlike other stations (as far as I know), the layout is [1A 2A 3A 4A 1B 2B 3B 4B] it's not [1A 1B 2A 2B ...] So beware of this layout when you stop by and don't plug in slow charger.
