In the middle of my delivery window 8/21-8/28, just asked my DS if he had an updated time frame. He responded with "It's going to be going through inspection soon!". I am not sure if he realizes this just forces me to hit refresh every 20 seconds. What is soon? lol :(

The 1.49% is only for 60 and 72 month loans. 1.74% is for the 78 month loan. 3.24% is what it shows for the 84 month loan. So it looks like they gave you a better rate than advertised for the length of the loan.

On their website they are advertising 1.99%. I know through Tesla we get the special rate of 1.49% for 60 and 72 months for top tier credit and 1.74% for 78 months (top tier credit). I was just approved this past Monday for 1.49% 72 months.

I was quoted by one place for around $600, does that seem like an accurate price? They also said it will last longer than 4 years, but recommend removing it prior to 4 years so that it doesn't cause damage later on when you try to peel it off.

Just as I am debating whether to black out the chrome on my S that is getting delivered next week I see these pictures and it makes not doing it so much more difficult!

Congratulations! Fully loaded 60. I'm at the same stage as Cnasty (about 7 days from delivery). Get ready for many sleepless nights and constant refreshing of your my tesla page. Also, make sure you take advantage of the $1000 referral credit if you haven't already.

And for a third time today they have updated my expected delivery... It apparently is done with production and in transit. It's crazy, i literally spoke to my DS yesterday and he said most likely 2nd week of September, and now its moved all the way up in the My Tesla portal to 8/21-8/29...

One thing you can keep in mind is maybe getting the model S now. Keeping it for the 2nd generation of the Model 3 and then trading it in. From everything I've read and seen, the first generation S and X have had the most issues and as they have progressed so has the build quality.
