Somebody in this forum posted a solution using three rare-earth magnets. I can't find the post again, but the solution works great. Been on my car for 18 months with no problems (and no holes!).

I noticed the same thing fairly recently. I've found that changing from 1 car-length-following to 2 will apply more moderate braking. But of course, in stop-n-go traffic, that also means everyone and their brother will cut in front of you.

I've been having an increasingly difficult time getting mine to UNfold. The only solution that works is to get out of the car, let it turn "off," and then get back in as if starting all over again. Sometimes two or three times.

On a 90+ degree day here in VA, I need to set the A/C to around 65 to remain comfortable. It is not uncommon to set it to max cool and still not keep the cabin cool enough.

I managed to get to 1 mile left in rural WV. We were drafting behind trucks, following the car's instructions to remain below 55 mph (on a 70mph Interstate), turned off the climate control, etc.

I also have the midnight silver. I went with satin black on everything except the door handles. I made them satin black initially, but the contrast with the midnight silver seemed too much, so I switched to gray for just the door handles.

I've used the satin black plasti-dip on mine and I like the look of it. If you want it to shine, apply their glossifier. Works very well.

Excess mileage is charged at 25 cents/mile. However, as of right now the car only has 5221.9 miles on, which is far below the average daily allowance for 10K miles/year (May is the lease start month).

Try treating the dipped area with Dip Coat protective spray. It really brings out some luster, and also protects the PlastiDip finish. At least it does when applied to black and dark gray.

I'm also in N.VA and received the 8.0 update OTA last night. I let it install this morning. You're even closer to the TYCO store and should receive any necessary software updates over the air. But probably the best course of action is to do what you've already done: contact the service center.

Ouch. Good to know. US Bank is the leasor (sp??) for my 90D. I'm only three months into it, but no problems yet. The only thing they won't do for me (so far) is permit advanced payments or full lease payoff.

Biggest problem is when you drive a non-Tesla and intuitively expect it to do things your Tesla does. Takes some getting used to.
