Damn, I wish I had mine done when and where you had yours. I got a refurb 85kWh for my P85D, and it is still charge-gated.

Unfortunately, according to this, my supercharging history only goes back as far as Feb 2017. I'm guessing that's because that's when they started thinking about charging fees for usage, and before that, they didn't keep track at all.

Hey guys- kind of off topic but is there any evidence to date of artificially capped Powerwalls?

Do you know whether your supercharging speed with the new battery was restored after they uncapped it (assuming it was previously slowed)? In my case, my range was restored but supercharging is still slow.

I would like to see that too. It's possible that my reman battery is capable of higher speed charging but my car has been flagged for lower speed. I'll send a message to the service center and see what they come back with.

Despite Tesla's shady practices, I simply don't see a better alternative. I'm not about to switch to an EV with no autopilot, even less range, and no long distance charging network over this. And I don't consider ICE an alternative- I'm done there.

That's a good point- in the past, when leaving my car for long periods, I never checked the app knowing it would cause more drain. It didn't occur to me that TeslaFi was having the same (actually worse) effect.

And just to make things more confusing, here they are on fueleconomy.gov. The 2014 P85D is 242 (maybe this was an estimate?), 2015 is 253.

It's not, though. I have 19"s and my sticker says 242. It is an early P85D that I believe has the +P suspension, despite the 19" wheels. Perhaps that is the difference.

I am affected (100% range down from 244 to 211 miles) but my regen is still acting normally at 100% (i.e., not at all.)

I posted earlier in this thread (6/21, #311) that my P85D's 100% range had gone down from 244 to 215. Welp, I just charged to 100% and now it's down to 211. I updated the spreadsheet. And holy guacamole, here's what Remote S says about my 85 kwh battery:

No, it did charge to 100%, but I didn't check the power with Teslemetry until I got to an onramp, about 1.5 miles after charging.

I finally got around to trying Teslemetry and charging to ~100%. Looks like I'm maxing out at 390kw.

I have not... I don't know how to do that so I don't have a baseline to compare anyway. 40kW sounds like a lot! Subjectively it feels a lot less punchy than before, especially in the 30-50 mph range. I feel like my wife's non-performance Model 3 is actually quicker in that range these days.

Strangely enough, I don't. Do you have referrals in that period? Not that it should matter, I only have referrals in a few of the periods in my list. In any case, I believe OP's end date for this period is correct because there was overlap between the two periods.
