I updated a few days ago and experiencing the dreaded "Touchscreen Unresponsive" error on the MCU. It happens usually during the day or first thing in the morning. I turned off Energy Savings (kept always connected ON) and seems to fix the issue, however, my vampire drain is significantly increased.

Well I installed 18.2 last weekend and now my MCU is almost always blank and shows “Touchscreen Unresponsive” error in the dash. Needs a MCU reboot via steering wheel buttons every morning.... I have AP2 2017 March build. Could it be related on a botched install or energy saving setting...

Hi bee boo, what kind of bump did you get on your tailgate and where did you finally get it fixed? I kinda found out about a dent on my tailgate as well today. Must have been a hit and run while I was parked. Too bad I didn't have a rearward cam.

I was there today and charged at the new P3 chargers. The charging rate was 14A 3-phase around 35+km/hr.

I also leave the door a bit open when in this kind of situation, however it's not ideal as sometimes you really don't want to leave your door ajar. If the X/S can sense passengers in the seat, then no reason we cannot change this behavior.

Not sure about their coating service but I use NTI for their touchless car wash. Seems ok for me.

I don't think expanding Superchargers would be a priority for them in HK since all sales have petty much died out prior to M3 launch.

For those that are still using the old style Autotoll units, you can wrap it in a clear plastic and put in in your nose cone / frunk area.

360 view would be very helpful in the cramped parking we have in Hong Kong.

Just to report the medium/standard chargers in Wanchai Tower also do not work with my X on medium. Standard 13a works though.

Thanks for the tips. One of the hardest things to get used to for me is getting out of a tight parallel parking space while on a slope. In such case, pressing the go pedal takes some getting used to as you cannot press too much (else accelerating too much and hitting the car in front) or...

I'm experiencing the same thing. On my previous car (BMW X5), even with the hill hold off, on slopes the car will hold the brake for me for 1-2 seconds. This gives me time to move my feet from the brake pedal to the accelerator. This should be an easy software implementation in the Model X.

Hi DITB, thanks for the informative post. The only question I have is that it seems possible for someone to disconnect the Chademo cable and take your adapter easily. This seems quite risky to me as the adapter is still worth HK 3k+.

An update on Grand Promenade charging stations, signage on usage is up on the walls now. There is a charge of HK$20 per hour to charge using EV-Link, max charge of 3 hours.

Anyone in Hong Kong purchased a Chademo adpater? I would like to know how the compatibility is with the Chademo stations around HK? Thanks.

I was at AIA Tower this morning and report that the two 32A EV-Link charging stations on the first level are still not operational. However I parked at the EV spot anyway with my X.

I know the software in other countries allow us to modify certain settings in the Spotify app, however I cannot seem to be able to find such settings in my HK model X. I'm most interested in the audio streaming toggle for Spotify. Anyone have any ideas ? Thanks.
