looks to me like the rotor was shot or a pad so worn it jumped out of the caliper broke the rotor then tore the caliper off the mounting either way poor maintenance,

well i spoke with tesla today all 4 pumps are different, and got a decent deal drop out the pack replace the pump and pyro fuse for £500 so im going to let them do it i can earn more doing what i do.
just a thought would this pump be covered under the powertrain (as it is a motor cooling pump) warranty. as i still have 9 months and 6k miles left on it
i have all the tools its just a PIA to have to do the job i am surprised there are no cooling pipes to the pack itself at least not in the removal instructions

can anyone tell me if it is possible to replace cooling pump #4 on my dual motor p85d without dropping the battery pack. tesla have quoted me $2200 to change a $275 pump and want a full 8 hours to change it the other 3 pumps are accessible and can be done in minutes.

well im 61 i dont hang about but i dont do 100+mph every day (i save that for the racetrack wher i regularly hit 200mph) it toooooo easy to lose you licence with all those pesky speed cameras.

not impressive at all my 2008 mini cooper-s would have killed it.
when i was driving on the ring the regen was irratic it would make the abs kick in on the inside wheel when cornering more regen would prob make it worse without some clever elctronics.
