well i spoke with tesla today all 4 pumps are different, and got a decent deal drop out the pack replace the pump and pyro fuse for £500 so im going to let them do it i can earn more doing what i do.

mine has been on there from new 2015 but i do garage mine every night and its relatively warm in there so im guessing that may extend the life.

just a thought would this pump be covered under the powertrain (as it is a motor cooling pump) warranty. as i still have 9 months and 6k miles left on it

i have all the tools its just a PIA to have to do the job i am surprised there are no cooling pipes to the pack itself at least not in the removal instructions

well im 61 i dont hang about but i dont do 100+mph every day (i save that for the racetrack wher i regularly hit 200mph) it toooooo easy to lose you licence with all those pesky speed cameras. my insuance was £500 ish in december

going to drive from reverse at 5mph is no different to flooring the pedal from a standstill.the motors will never exceed the preset torque limit.

Are the daughterboards available(with larger capacity) to simply clone and replace without the risk of desoldering and corrupting good data

my p85d 2015 around 10 minutes in July 35deg c 50% SOC brakes were cooked after 6-10 corners went into limp at 10km overheating not impressive at all my 2008 mini cooper-s would have killed it.

mine is an october 2015 with the 21" on it handles great for a big heavy car but it cannot be compared to a mclaren in any way.

i have a p85d and have driven a mclaren there is no comparison they are like chalk and cheese

when i was driving on the ring the regen was irratic it would make the abs kick in on the inside wheel when cornering more regen would prob make it worse without some clever elctronics.
