I correct my statement - it was a hardware issue. They swapped the chip and it’s fine now. So, maybe firmware, but the new chip did fix it and I’m thrilled to not be dealing with that anymore.

It is a software issue. It can be continuously popping up and down every 3 seconds. If I then reboot the software it will be fine, at least for a day or a week. When non-Tesla riders ride with me and see it, it’s a terrible advertisement for the product/company.

I would happily spend that. Just can't find any service center to do it. Anyone in the SF area that had this done?
