Our 2017 P100D S has recently had this problem twice. I didn't wait for 3 minutes but instead did a reboot. It seems the car is going into deep sleep after sitting a few days.

I didn't take a picture but it looks like the PG&E service has been installed. I'm guessing they are just waiting for final inspection at this point. I hope it opens soon as I live 1 1/2 miles away and have free lifetime SuperCharging.

Just so everyone knows, if your car was under warranty when your emmc died you will get no reimbursement. Mine was dead and I opted to pay for the MCU 2 upgrade. Apparently if I would have waited 2 more months for the warranty to expire, I would have received some reimbursement. But as usual...

Bob, It's well worth the wait. But as Tesla owners, we want our stuff yesterday! Another benefit is the 5GHz wifi. My MCU 1 would always disconnect from wifi and sometimes wouldn't even see the access point (about 10ft away). The dashcam/sentry viewer is pretty cool too.

Try recycling the breaker to the wall charger. My first HCWC died within 6 months (no lights at all). Tesla gave me a little grief as they wanted proof a certified electrician installed it, so beware. They did replace it but I had to do the install. Good luck.

Does anyone know if these software updates get updated as one software chunk or does it come incrementally? I've noticed a lot of activity on my vehicle, but it's like 7MBs here and 18 there. I'm guessing it should just be like one 500MB or so of data activity.

I have a AP 2.0 car. I think we should start a movement. We purchased our cars first, we should get the updates first as they have been using our money all this time, you know, time value of money. No offence AP 1 drivers, but our EAP and FSD premiums warrant some love.

Elon will enable L5 next month. It will require that you keep slight resistance on the wheel at all times and in the direction of the upcoming curves as well as slight pressure on the brakes when stopping and accelerator when starting. Other than that, completely "anonymous" driving. BD

I grew up in Santa Cruz and commuted to San Jose for years. IMHO, if autopilot can handle CA-17, it is awesome. That road is like the old video game Night Driver. At least you didn't say autopilot fails on Heckar Pass. Do us all a favor and beta test AP on that road....;) BD

I used 3 gauge on mine and it BARELY fits in the HPWC connectors. I had to run through a couple of 90 degree bends and that stuff is tough to work with. It is also very difficult to maneuver within the HPWC housing. Good luck, have fun! BD

Range for sure. I commute 265mi and I need to know if I'll get there. 99% of the time I can there in my P100D, but sometimes (cold Wx, headwinds) I cannot. BD

I used to drive that road every day. Lived in SC and commuted to San Jose State. Try eating a Togos sandwich on that road without autopilot!
