Yeah, I have seen that they are charging $9k USD for the long range battery. Just curious if that would convert to $12k CAD or an adjusted value. Just seems pricey for 100 miles of range. My reservation is indicating a late 2018 delivery, however, I was hoping for late 1st quarter 2019...

Is this proven to be true, or speculation. I have seen both bolt patterns listed for the Model 3. TSportline is showing 5x114.3 Other sources are showing 5x120

I think a HUD system is the most effective, safest and easiest to implement. Manufacturers like Mercedes and BMW have very detailed HUD with a wide variety of information being displayed and using a full color spectrum.

I personally like the look of the reveal car front end, but as mentioned above it has absolutely NO branding on it, so that leaves plenty of room for interpretation and adjustment to the final design. I also think the matte black car showing the trunk function will be closer to the real back end

as a response, my reply to the vote was that I really don't care if an announcement is made. If you think about the bigger picture, 'the wait' is all about having patience and excitement combined.

I think that if there is no attempt to start production by late summer (September), there will be 75,000 - 100,000 deposits refunded. Just a guess, but I think there are a high number of people who were looking to cash-in by being an early adopter and really don't care about the true ideologies...

I do agree, it is all in perspective. I missed my chance to buy stock in 2014 as I was uncertain on the success of the company at that time. I regret not buying shares as I would have seen a nice increase in value. There are still spikes and dips though, but that is normal for a tech company

I am sure the reservation process for the Model Y will be same as the Model 3. If there are people who flip their reservation, that is their decision, but I can't see Tesla allowing reservation holders to make a decision to flip before the official reservation process begins.
