A significant part of my commute is on a 4 lane highway with speed limits of 55 and 60mph in different parts. Its two lanes in each direction with a double yellow in the middle. Unfortunately for me, this road is treated as a 'local road' and not a Freeway/Highway. Technically its a Highway...

My DS told me today that he is not getting any updates or responses from Fremont (likely chaotic this week). So no news isn't necessarily bad news. At least the DS was honest about it. So my car is maybe sitting there getting dusty or finishing QC and almost on its way to me - I guess I'll find...

Wow, that is too bad. My DS told me that no cars that were started before the retool would just sit. That they only started cars they intended to finish, or at least get through the part of the line being shut down, before the retool. I guess they just say whatever they feel like because so far...

I read somewhere that depending on your state they may not allow you to not have the front plate installed. The owner would have to self-remove it later. I live in Oregon, where it is required. Just emailed my DS after seeing your post and requested the same....we will see what he says.

I'm curious about autopilot driving my X into a pothole. Some snow over the last couple months has resulted in some seriously deep potholes. If autopilot is steering and I don't see a pothole, will the car? And would it scoot over a bit if there was room in the lane to avoid it?

My Delivery specialist just told me that they stopped adding Model S and Model X to the assembly line sometime last Wednesday and that they planned to finish all the vehicles that they started, just not add new ones until after the retool. Apparently mine (and likely yours) is in quality control...

I wonder if it will just sit there all week while they retool for M3...that would suck!
