Dial our local tesla number and select the option for service.. Mine is 2.. Then immediately hit 2 again and it should directly roll to your local service team :)

I am with you... I stopped by there yesterday and noticed a guy picking up a container.. Also running the power would be a huge pain.

How do you perform rebalance?? Is it just s full discharge recharge cycle?

Pretty sure that and the fact it’s now a dual motor.. but I have seen other p85d 100 % numbers better.. but honestly I am on the last leg of driving this to Raleigh NC from West palm beach Florida and the range hasn’t been an issue... plenty of charge between super chargers averaging 80mph

Oh and to answer the last question.. The differences I see so far is handling and range.. my ms85 at 100% is 260 this one is around 240 at 100. I may see some further degradation mostly due to me actually driving this car. I will watch and push the service team if needed.. oh and of course...

Well I am literally on the way home with my new to me 2014 p85d!!! It’s absolutely stunning!! The seats and rest of The interior Is what I would describe as brand new.. pretty perfect really! The outside is as close to perfection as you could hope for..took my breath away! Only one small ding...

My service manger told me it was basically the fuse in the pack as well. That's pretty much it.. I didn't think the packs would be different from the P and reg 85s? Seems like a pain from the manufacturing perspective..Is there a different part number?

My guy may have given me bad info but I was told that all of the later drive units are actually the exact same and the early ones were different? They obviously have different part numbers but are really just different from the pre-loaded firmware. I guess I need to get my my hacking skills up...

I say we keep pushing this!! I see no technical reason Tesla cant uncork the older standard MS 85!! Pretty much every other Model S has at some point received a performance upgrade.. 85D 75 and 75D.

It would make sense that the inverter would be different.... I also read on here once that Tesla early one would install a P Drive Unit as a replacement once in a while depending on availability.
