I’ve had good experience with the Pittsburgh, PA service center when I had my MS 75D. It took a few visits to finally find the root cause of the problem, but I received good communication and a loaner each time, so I’m reasonably happy with them.

Mine was installed at the factory along with badge. Fits perfectly.

You should also be going after the other insurance for a DV (dimished value) claim if it doesn’t end up totaled. There are other threads about this process. There is even a company you can hire to produce a DV report.

Full coverage of XPEL is costing me almost $6k in DC and some quotes were higher. Had a quote of $7k for my Model S in PA. And that doesn’t include any paint correction!

I’m pretty sure you should have installed the PPF first. I don’t think the PPF will reliably stick to the ceramic coating.

In my experience, a salvage vehicle is worth about 50% of an equivalent clean title one, especially on trade. If you are going to buy a salvage title vehicle, be prepared to keep it a long time or take a beating on resale value. Enjoy.
