I had issue with mine before and I changed the module under the seat and everything was fine.

I used my original “third panel “ and mounted it like this. I also cut the sides of the panel to make it fit. Hopefully this pjot helps.

The old connections fit the new fog lights but it does not operate correctly. Some of the many issues are… fog lights stay on and doesn’t turn off even when you lock the car and the turn signals do not work.

It fits. I couldn’t find any model x fogs for sale so I took the risk and purchased the model S version …and I don it have any fitment issue.

I had to buy it separately. Also, the model S fog lights also work on our bumpers. I know its a different part number, but it works!

I didn’t do anything modification to the rails. I only modify/trim the old reinforcement bar. The needed to trim the existing reinforcement bar because it was hitting the new design fog lights.

For the f in Are you taking about the reinforcement bar? That is the part I am referring that you have to modify. You have to modify it by cutting both sides shorter. You also have to trim a little on the bottom of reinforcement bar to make the new bumper fit.

The fuse was 50 dollars but you still have to have evfixme or someone that can go into the computer to reconfigure to the new fuse.

Finally got the time to swap out the old pyro fuse to the updated version. . Everything works and the error code is gone with the simple replacement part and having evfixme in Orange County to reconfigure the car to the new fuse. Side by side of old vs new fuse. Took about a hour to start to...

Rear bumper was pretty straight forward. Plug and play.

For the rear or front? Rear was direct bolt on. Front requires new brackets and modifying the reinforcement bar.

This is the part you have to replace and then have someone with toolbox to reset. Will let you know the results this weekend.

Hahaha. So far to do this modification I modified my reinforcement bar, got new side mounting brackets for the bumper and currently trying to rewrite the fog lights to make them work.

So far here is an update on the front. Still need to fix the gap but still can’t figure out the fog lights. If anyone can help…please pm me. Also added 20mm spacers all around.

Yes, we are almost done with the front retrofit but having problems with he fog lights not working . We also did the rear retrofit which was prettty easy and was almost plug and play. Will show final results when everything is done. Thanks to RRamuu12 for some cool tips.

Double Latch or Single latch? Either way, try to adjust the softclose latch (should have two screw on nuts to adjust)

Hood is a direct fitment but if you have a double latch hood, you will need to get a custom bracket to make the hood to lock in.

Its going to be a lot of work but anything can be done with money and time. We will be starting to remove our PANO roof on our Signature Model S to add the all glass roof. Once we complete this retrofit, we will be able to do what you want.

Yes, we have MCU 2 with the Light Harmonic on our car and they took care of the popping issues and static that comes from the speakers by replacing our amp.
