I’m genuinely curious what the actual expected gain would be. Assuming the car does 0-60 in 4.2s now, and an uncorked 100D does 3.6ish, how much room is there really for a 90D battery even with an updated drive unit. 3.9 seconds? Anyone know?

As a data point, I have a last week of August 2017 manufactured 90D and I inquired about the uncorking back when it was first made available. I was told that it’s not available for 90Ds, even though I have the newer drive unit.

I think anything from about late August 2017 until March 2018 would be AP2.5 with MCU1

Just finished the update to 2017.38 f87c64d5 from 2017.36. It gave me release notes related to Supercharger power (which I vaguely recall from the last update). I have 2.5HW. Maybe this will turn AEB back on? Seems like something they would tell you though.

100% can. I bought an inventory car and used a code. I did have to call back after delivery to get the free Supercharging enabled, but the $1000 came off obviously before delivery.

I'm no Ansel Adams, but where the sensor or whatever it is, is located, is in that mirror, upper right, about where the headrest is on the mirror. If you zoom WAY in, look along the top edge about an inch in from the right edge, its there.

For starters I would say, don't be in a rush. There is a ton to know about Teslas, regarding different options and hardware and timeframes, etc. Spending a couple weeks or so more reading through buying experiences and learning about the surprisingly many nuances will really pay dividends.
