Thinking back now about the other times I subscribed, I seem to remember that it always seem to take a while before the FSD option appeared, even though the software screen says I have a subscription. This time it was 10 days before it rebooted and came back with FSD available. I don't know if...
So, tonight, while picking up dinner, when I came back to the car, it was rebooting, and when done, I had FSD (Supervised)! Not sure if they got to it as part of my service request, or the car finally camae to its senses, but whatever...
The difference with me is that I had actually subscribed, and my software screen actually shows that I have a FSD subscription, with an expiration date. But in my Autopilot menu, there is no option to select FSD, just TACC and Autosteer.
Did that too, but no matter what I select, their app decides to send it mobile service and the earliest date is the 29th. When you select software, they do a diagnostic and say you have the latest version and there is no other option to tell them what the problem is!
DId all that, including reloading 2024.3.15, still no option. It clearly shows my FSD subscription expiration date in the software screen, but some flag is missing and it doesn't think I should have FSD Supervised. The visualization is full FSD though, since I can see cars in opposing lanes, etc.
It just has the TACC and Autosteer option, no 3rd option, which is what is so weird. On the software screen where it shows 11.1 and the 2024.3.15 version, there is nothing below it. I heard that those with FSD enabled has the FSD version listed below?
Both Lawrence and Salem, NH have been waiting for meter turn-on and commisioning for a while now. Wonder what is going on with National Grid that is causing all these delays.... And here we have Tesla boasting about 4 days turnup, but they don't factor in the utility turn up time!
So I just received 2024.3.15 along with an email from Tesla that says I've got the 30 day free trial. Since I had subscribed, it was tacked to the end of my subscription, essentially giving me an extra month. HOWEVER, there is STILL no FSD (supervised) option in my Autopilot menu! I've rebooted...
I just re-subscribed to FSD and only got 2024.2.7, which only has the beta FSD. And since beta is essentially over, there is no option to opt in anymore. So I am now paying for FSD but am not able to get the 'FSD supervised' software (2024.3.10). It's been 4 days and my car still says it has the...
Yeah, the fact that the ChargeSmart rebate still works no matter which supplier you have put me over the edge. I signed up and will play the musical chairs game with the rates....
I don't doubt that you can save money doing this, for me, the issue is that they tend to be teaser rates which change when your initial term expires, and then you have to shop around again. And many of the best rates are for new customers only, which means you can't jump back and forth for the...
Interesting, maybe I have to pay attention more to the 3rd party suppliers now...Can I ask who you selected and what your rate and contract period is?
For @canbonbon, here is how the rebate shows up on the bill. It was a small amount this month as the car got disconnected when Tesla changed...
I believe you can only get this program if National Grid is your supplier, since it's a National Grid program. If you have a 3rd party supplier, I don't think you would be eligible, even though you still pay National Grid the transmission charges. The login to the program uses your National Grid...
Not sure I understand, this is an off-peak charging rebate, nothing to do with solar generation. You have to be a National Grid residential customer and when you sign up using your car or charger account, they can track your charging. For each kWh that you charge in off-peak times (anywhere in...
National Grid has a Charge Smart program that rebates you 3 cents (winter) or 5 cents (summer) per kWh of off-peak charging. Does that count? You don't even have to charge at home, just anywhere in MA.
The old lines have been removed and new lines painted. Interesting, they placed the pedestal more towards the middle, probably to try to mitigate non Tesla cars a bit…
Meter is still not live though..
I had a chance to take a look at the meter today, and unfortunately, it is not live. So it appears there is at least one or more further steps by National Grid before Tesla can come commission the site :(....
No, I considered doing that but I was too lazy to stop. I think the fact that both the meter and the transformer cabinet now has a lock on it is a good sign that it is live.
I can confirm that as of today, there is now a meter and a lock on the transformer cabinet , so it looks like it is live and just needs Tesla commissioning.
Had a chance to take a pic today. I’m pretty sure someone has been here and did some work. The 1-4 label is definitely new and corresponds to the 1-2 and 1-3 labels I see on the other transformers nearby. The only difference is there is no lock and yellow lock labels, which means it’s not live...
Drove by quickly today, and I'm pretty sure the transformer now has National Grid stickers and commissioning numbers on it that weren't there before. I could be wrong, sorry, didn't take a picture...
That's a big honking transformer, and indeed, upon taking a closer look, it is a 1500 kVA unit, which is about twice what most sites utilize. I wonder if they are short of the 750 kVA units and are installing an oversize unit to get it up and running.
It must have been delivered on Friday, right? I'm around that area every Friday and normally I swing by to check, but this Friday I decided nothing has been hapenning and skipped it.....
Although I haven't see any vagrants at the site when I've used it, the amount of trash sure seems to indicate that it's a site where they hang out. I'm not sure who does maintenance on this site (Target or Tesla) but last summer, the weeds were so overgrown that I had to send Tesla a picture. It...
This thread is interesting as although my 2017 S75 is still showing 220 miles of range, I'm assuming that at some point I'd have to consider something like this. However, although the car can probably accept a 90 or 100 battery, I wonder what the implications are for the redesignation as I don't...
Yeah, repaving and stall numbering hasn't happened yet, and still no signs of transformer as of today. Presumably, restriping will happen along with the paving, or shortly after
Curious about the new 100D designation. It looks like it is officially changed in Tesla's database, hence it showing as a 100D in the app, but since all the original Tesla documentation probably shows it as a 75D, can Tesla come back at some point and say that you did something that invalidates...
I was away for 2 weeks, and basically, other than pouring the footings for the pedestals, nothing much has happened. Still no equipment on site and the concrete pour on the charger pedestal appears to be stopped.. This was supposed to be a quick substitution, but is turning out to be more drawn...
Tesla has always preferred to quote the full amount of what MAY be charged, just so you are not surprised. I presume that if they requoted you just to change the bulb, and you agreed and sent it in, and that didn't fix the problem, then they would come back to you to approve the amount for the...
So wait, Tesla plans to charge you $126 for labor to change the entire assembly, which presumably requires removing the bumper cover, while Electrified Garage plans to charge you $800 (presumably mostly labor) to replace the bulb, which also involves removing the bumper cover? Someone's labor...
Ok, the $1k headlight was for the LED version. No idea what the cost of the projector headlight replacement bulb is. Why not just get a quote fro Tesla to see what it's going to cost?
The headlight assembly mounts to the body with a fixed alignment. There is a screw adjustment on the headlight assembly itself for adjusting just the height. There is a procedure online on what the height of the beam should be adjusted to, which can be done on any wall.
I should note that this...
You didn't mention for which model, but if it's for the Model S, it's mostly the cost of the new headlight, over $1000 each last I checked. I bought a used one from ebay for $175. You basically drop the bumper cover to get access and after that, it's just 4 or 5 screws on the headlight assembly.
TeslaWiFi active at Woburn, MA site.
Not sure how long it's been active at this site, but today I noticed today that the Woburn site is now Tesla WiFi enabled. The car automatically connects to SSID TeslaWiFi_Mercury. Connectivity is via AT&T Mobility and not Starlink. It's probably the same...
I subscribed in early March and have not received any beta updates. With the FSD subscription, the current non-beta software only adds stopping at traffic lignts. The FSD Beta button is greyed out and it says it will be enabled on the next load. However, since there hasn't been a wide FSD beta...
It looks like it's running older software, but at a minimum, it seems to have Enhanced Autopilot. Ask him to send you a picture of the software screen. It should give you more information.
I think the cutoff was sometime around Sep/Oct 2017 when Tesla switched from HW2 or AP2 to HW2.5 or AP2.5. When I ordered my car in August 2017, the build features listed AP2, but when it was built, it was changed to AP2.5, so the cutover happened around then. I believe the main difference...
