Wiki FSD’s Earliest Adopters Still Waiting

Add me in... I'm lividly pissed off... I've spent a lot of time and money making sure that my car would be first in line. I purchased FSD during the dark days per MCU1 upgrade path. I spent $2500 to upgrade to MCU2 at the same time that the HW3 computers were made available and did both...

Who with a score of 100 and more than 100 miles is still waiting for FSD roll out?

I've got 1150+ miles @ 100 Safety Score with my S75D (AP2/MCU1>HW3/MCU2 Upgraded Refresh). No invite first round, and still now love... REALLY frustrating.

Who with a score of 100 and more than 100 miles is still waiting for FSD roll out?

I pressed the "button" on 9/25. My score was 100 as of Wednesday, 10/6. As of Friday 10/8 EOD I had 750+ miles, @ 100. I'm currently @ 1051miles @ 100 as of 10/13. Location: Austin, TX My car is a mid-2017 S75D with EAP/FSD AP2.0/MCU1 (originally) upgraded to HW3/MCU2, meaning no interior...

Who with a score of 100 and more than 100 miles is still waiting for FSD roll out?

My guess is that they decided to make the initial beta dependent on the cabin camera for attention awareness. The feature made it into the release notes. The vast majority of Model S/X models that meet the criteria do NOT have interior cameras. I have a 100 score, drove almost 800 miles. As of...

Tesla infotainment system upgradeable from MCU1 to MCU2

No idea. Whatever they did works. The invoice I got before the appointment is... weird. Lists the part for Model X 2.5, but also says Model S AP2 and MCU1 upgrade to MCU2 and HW3... It wasn't confidence inspiring, but they clearly worked it out. :) Good luck!

Tesla infotainment system upgradeable from MCU1 to MCU2

My ~ August 2017 Model S 75D (AP2/MCU1) was just successfully upgraded by the kind folks at Tesla in Austin, TX at the Pond Springs service center. Dropped it off yesterday afternoon, given a Tesla 85D as a loaner. Texted this morning, saying it would be ready @ 3:30PM today.... Some...

Question: 2018 Model S 75D rear quarter panel damage

Forgot to mention... you're probably looking at at LEAST 1 month, if not much more in terms of time to get replacement parts in. That's a long time to have the car in the shop. You'd get rental reimbursement if you file through his insurance, and that could be worth another $4-6k, depending on...

Question: 2018 Model S 75D rear quarter panel damage

That's a tough one. I'm going to guess that's $10k worth of damage, and at least a $15k Diminished Value hit -- maybe more-- if it gets CARFAXED (without even getting into the ethics of not disclosing an accident to a buyer). You're looking at a replacement quarter panel and door, most likely...
