I have this working in 28.2. Can now walk up to a sleeping, locked car, push the button on the charge cable handle and the car and charge port unlock. Previously had to wake the car with a door handle first.

Ouch. That’s not a fun situation. Very not safe if it is unlatched and the wind catches it while driving. You might try rebooting and see if it comes back in a locked state. Push and hold both wheel buttons in for a soft reboot or both buttons + brake pedal for hard reboot.

Sure, but the reason you needed to use the key card was that your phone key didn’t autoconnect properly to do the unlock in the first place. It still hasn’t connected over the course of the drive, and it’s not connected when you walk away. Thus, no autolock.
