I think the P100D is much more expensive simply for bigger margin purposes that customers are willing to pay for the absolute best performance. Think Porsche 911 Turbo S vs a regular Carrera, about $100K difference in price for a relatively similar model.

The 21” Michelin Super Sport tires on my arachnids improved the ride imo over the 19”. I think it’s a matter of much better tire tech that I’m sure we’ll find on the Performance 20” Model 3 wheels.

I've seen them also plug into regular superchargers, however you statement that they need stop every 200 miles is inaccurate. They're supposed to have 600 mile range with a load (at least for the bigger battery truck)

You'll be surprised that with the newer tire technology the low profile tires are very comfortable. The Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires on my Arachnids are smoother than the 19" Slipstream stock wheels and tires on my S, and they have far less tire sidewall roll i.e. more responsive steering...

I picked up my first Model 3 4 weeks to the day so the delivery estimate was spot on! My 2nd Model 3 the timeline states 3-6 week delivery so we'll have to wait to see what happens with that one.
