I used to have random static-y songs every 10th song or so, but since the v9 update, now I have a different problem where it skips a small section of the song, like a CD skipping. (Remember CDs?)

I have the RPM Tesla one. It doesn't "lock," but it slips under the lip enough to stay in place and it's never slid out on me. I don't think it's much/any more expensive than the rest of them.

Been waiting to updated this, but here we go. The lights and warnings came back the morning after we picked it up, so it went back to the SC on Monday morning. This time, they replaced the wheel sensor, along with the disc (or something) that it registers to. Got the same Model S as a loaner...

Picked up the car today from the SC. They said it was a problem with the wheel speed sensors not agreeing with each other, which caused the whole system to get confused. He said they cleaned the sensors and recalibrated them. Kudos for them though for squeezing me in on a day where they were...

Makes sense, Tesla has no responsibility to provide you a car if you're in an accident. I'll have to check with my insurance. I can't really be without a car for long periods like that.

Have they provided you with loaners the whole time? I'm not thrilled about the lengthy SC stays either, but I can deal with it if I still have a car to drive.

Yeah, of course those are possibilities. I was just responding to a poster that said the evidence suggested he was not using AP. I think the evidence (particularly those texts) suggests that he probably was.

Update on my situation: I talked to my OA. I am refusing delivery on my old MCU MX and ordering a new one. He said he can transfer my deposit to the new order, no problem. No extra deposit needed. He was very accommodating. He seemed to be surprised that I was willing to go through the "hassle"...

I think so, too. I hope we're right. Plus, the Model 3 ramp-up has been going slower than expected, which bodes well for extending 200k past 3/31.

Finished on 2/28. But I'm talking about refusing delivery and reordering so I get the new MCU. It's saying June deliveries right now. If they hit 200k by 3/31, then 6/30 is the last day to get the full credit. That's cutting it close imo.

Unless it also means you lose $3,750 on the tax credit. Now you're talking $6,250. That's the decision I'm facing, delivery on 3/20.
