My "old" MS had stalks and I like it but my refreshed MS does not but I got used to it withing a week of driving it. Hopefully FSD V12.x will obviate the need for turn signals!

I understand that the "Highway stack" is still on the old SW branch so one would not see any improvements. Hopefully that will be converted to the neural nets, soon. I agree that even though it is much smoother one has to be very vigilant while driving under V12.3

I wonder how they will do this on MS? I do wish they had a way to display FSD on the large MCU instead of the small front screen.

Yes V12.3 seems much better but still making few mistakes. One thing that I observed today is that I am not getting "stopping for stop light". "Creeping forward" etc messages. Have thy stopped displaying these messages on V12.3?

I received V12.3 yesterday evening. Took it for a drive this morning. It is much better than V11.9. It went around a small unmarked round-about very nicely. V11.9 could not do that. Hope we get V12.3.1 soon!

Thank you! That makes me feel better. I wish Tesla would explain the process for their SW rollout or better still have a DB where users can see how far down the line they are to get an update.

It seems that everyone has received FSD 12.3 except me. Are there still people with refreshed MS who have NOT received FSD 12.3? I wonder if the remaining people will get FSD 12.3.1 since it has been so late?

Someone must have heard me! Received FSD update 2023.38.9 this morning. Now waiting for V12 (2023.38.10). Hopefully "2 weeks"!

For some reason I have not received any update after 2023.32.9 (11.4.4). Wonder if they are being selective about newer updates?

I did not see any improvements in FSD. It still makes lots of mistakes. Hope we get V12 soon that is more robust and handles most of the drive without interventions.

Just got update 2023.32.7 on my refreshed MS. Previously it was on 2023.32.4. It is still on FSD 11.4.4 Are there any improvements with this update?

Thanks. Maybe Tesla will still release their much vaunted AI version (V12) on a 11.x branch for folks like us. It is my understanding that V12 will lose "beta" designation that will require regulatory approvals resulting in 6-12 months of delay, at least.

I have been on SW 2023.26.10 (FSD 11.4.4) for a while on my refreshed MS. Any idea when we will get FSD 11.4.7 that has been rolled out to other cars and is supposed to be much better. Thanks.

Thanks for the update. As the new SCs come prefabricated it should not take that long for them to install the system, once they get started. I hope they install SC in Verona as it will be very convenient when we visit our son.

Looks like Tesla will not retrofit MCU with motors to tilt, as per the Kansas City SC. Disappointing. They also do not have memory upgrade available for games.

Is there a way to petition Tesla/Elon about us early adopters about getting the two motors under our MCU installed so that the screen tilts? This would be good to play games. I sent a tweet to Elon but got no response.

Looks like the new uSW pdate will allow PS5 Bluetooth connectivity for games. Ask and you shall receive!

Sometime toggling the software switch from "normal" to "Advanced" few times seems to help.

Is t Does it buzz all the time or just sporadically? On my car I hear the the buzzing sound sometimes. Not sure it the sound turns on and off when it is parked, on its own. I turned OFF the noise cancellation to no avail.

Downloaded firmware 2022.28.1 last evening and it is still humming.

Any idea when Tesla will release their game controllers (like the yoke) they had demonstrated a year or so ago?

Has anyone observed their refreshed Model S make a deep whining sound after you park it after a drive? I think it started doing this after a SW update few weeks ago. The whining sound stops after about 15 minutes or so. I am guessing that it is the sound of coolant pump. I am currently on 2022.24.8

I was surprised to see that new maps (version NA-2022.28-14046) was downloaded yesterday to our car.

It works for me on the left turn light when I have the turn signal ON.

You're right. I did not realize that I had to turn this option "ON" under Autopilot. As someone said the default setting is "OFF". Thanks.

Downloaded 2022.20 on my refreshed Refreshed MS this morning. I did not hear a chime when the light turned green on a stop-light. I wonder if it will chime only if you wait for a few seconds on a stop-light after it turns green as a reminder to move.

Drove my car this morning after firmware 2022.16.0.2 was loaded a few days ago. Now the car displays break lights when you release pressure on the accelerator pedal.

It would be useful if the Tesla APP can display the current Map version on our phones. It would be wonderful if it could "push" notification when a new Map update has been installed on the car. The new "Charge Stat" in Tesla APP 4.5.1 is useful as it shows the cost of charging your car at home...

I am assuming that the newer map update will show the new roads or areas constructed since the previous map. This might be useful in areas that has had lot of new construction, housing developments, stores etc. For most of us it should be fairly transparent.

Same here. The map updates are decoupled from Firmware updates due to the size of the map file. The maps will be downloaded without user input.

Same here. Still no notification being pushed on the iPhone. I happened to see it when I went to turn on the heat remotely. I think these are HVAC fixes for cold region. Hopefully we should be getting 2022.X updates that will open up some new functionalities for the new MS-LR & Plaid cars.

On two separate occasions my car volume jumped to 9 (max) when we entered the car and it started playing songs from my iPhone. It was extremely loud. Has anyone experienced this phenomena? I wonder how the volume could jump from "2" to "9" on its own?
