It is actually a 6/16 MX 90D. I never had to replace the MCU on my older S. I was surprised that the MCU failed so abruptly. No signs or symptoms before full failure.

Same issues with my previous Model S in Raleigh NC. With my Model X we bought from Tesla recently with very low miles and surprisingly no rock chips I invested in PPF on the bumper, hood, fenders and mirrors. It will protect your vehicle and save you a lot of heart ache.

According to Discount tire the maximum tire size for the 22 x 9.0 is a 285/35r22.
