This is what I thought at first but the manual mentions that the ground clearance is 7 inch both with and without skis when suspension is set to standard but when suspension is set to high the ground clearance is different. I had imagined that the hitch/ski carrier would raise by the same amount...

Upgrading an AP1 to the new MCU is a game changer. Tesla would be the only car manufacturer that would allow upgrading the MCU.

Correct, I meant the maintenanace plan talks about hardware upgrades but I'm not sure exactly what "hardware upgrades" they actually make except for a mandatory recall
