Noticed it at $3000 yesterday too for my 2018 2.5 X with EAP. Based just on the description from the App on what you get it did not sound like it was worth it if you already have EAP.

I experienced that a couple of times (2-3 times) a few months ago on our 2018 X. It went away on its own as I have not been able to recreate it.

Trying out the method from @Blue X90 and it’s working out slowly but surely! As mentioned in this thread it looks like the key is getting the light as close as possible to the screen which is easier with Blue X90s method (vs rigging up a cardboard box with the other UC light).

Our Model X from Mid 2018 had a one of the seals on the left FWD worn out upon delivery. They repaired it under warranty when we brought the car back in a week later to correct some of the other issues. They said they replaced both the seal and the glass.

We got our X back this past Friday after being in the SC for 2 weeks for this screen off/‘power off’ issue. It happened on 42.2 but no issue with 42.3. SC could not recreate it on 42.3 and pushed 42.4 to the car. Car was returned as safe to drive but with the issue open.

Hi - in case you did not already get the information, all you have to do is call Tesla and connect with the Tesla body shop support rep and tell them your name and phone #. Maybe VIN too but I think they were easily able to look our car up. Good luck!

Yes i would pay a reasonable amount for the self presenting doors functionality. I would actually turn off the self presentation function but would use the 'double click to open' function for the driver's side all the time.
