For more than a decade in my 20s and early 30s, I applied the same philosophy to leave my car doors unlocked (less valuable). I wouldn't suggest it unless you can stomach the risk. Fortunately for me, the two neighborhood break-ins during my 3 yr stay in KS only resulted in pocket change stolen.

I didn't get an option. The default for my model 3 placed on Nov 8 was Home Delivery. I would have selected the center if given a choice.

You're correct Kuhz. I don't want to limit myself too much. I really like all S models, just blue and red colors would not be my 1st 2nd or 3rd choice. My max price will probably be in the 50s, we'll see. I've seen the 2016s & 17s avg selling $54K on Ebay.
