Do you have charging set for a scheduled time? What happens when you manually start charging by hitting the start charging button on the upper left of the screen? Have you tried lowering the current to less than 12A? When you first plug in, does the current slowly ramp up and then errors out...

318 miles @ 100% charge on 2019.5.15. Car is 4 months old with 6k miles.

This is only my second time charging to 100% since getting my car back in Nov. First time it showed 310. I mainly charge to 90% and that always show 278-280 miles.

I got the update last night, so I decided to charge to 100%. I'm getting the mileage range directly from the Tesla API.

I've posted this on other threads, but it seems that 2019.5.4 fixed my black screen reboot issue. I've had the issue since picking up my car in Nov and it got really bad with 2018.50.6 where it would occur almost everytime I got in the car. Hopefully it stays fixed in subsequent updates.

I ran a test yesterday parked at work in gloomy Socal. I enabled sentry mode at 37% (114.1 mi). I checked on it a little over 8 hours later and it was down to 34% (105.92 mi). Total loss of 8.18 miles (~1mi/hr). Not too bad for the potential benefits.

I'm not sure what version you're on, but for my car on 2019.5.4, I noticed that when first plugging in the usb drive, I have to tap the dashcam icon to get the red dot. This is different than 2018.50.6 where it would start recording within a few seconds of plugging in the drive.

I just tried it on my 3 (50.6) using a tablet that has not been authorised as a key. Using remote start and unlock, the car doesn't even prompt for the pin. Pin to drive, is useless in this scenario. At least make the thief have to enter my extremely long and complicated password one more time...

Not near my car to test, but would pin to drive stop this even if you activate remote start?

Another idea is to have the video files be temporarily stored on the system flash and only upload once it's connected to WiFi.
