After requesting a tracking number for my refund, I recieved a prompt response from the same Tesla employee that had emailed earlier. Work schedules have made it difficult to get the package as an "adult signature" is required. My better half will pick up the envelope at the Fed Ex station...

I've never been a fan of stickers on a car at all, but these just look horrible. When Martin first received his Roadster there was some discusion about the stickers. Does anyone know if he has applied them? I certainly hope not. A special plate would be much less offensive.

Chimp, What Kevin is refering to has been extensively discussed here and other places. Its not conjecture or speculation. Also, the roadster glider is built on the same line that builds the Elise. So when you say "they" meaning Tesla, you should consider that it is Lotus building the glider...

I think it makes sense that they move toward an entirely in house build. If they are truly serious about branding (and it seems they are), it doesn't make sense to be so closely linked to another car company. Uninformed people still refer to the roadster as an electric Elise. Some might agree...
