Not throwing any stones but I’m sure a lot of people will. As long as the cord is sized properly to handle the current and you use it properly and assuming you have made the connectors properly there’s nothing wrong with running 240 through the cord. Good for you for thinking outside the box.

What about people, like me, that paid the deposit the day cybertruck was announced. We should be getting founders editions, VIN’s and delivery dates. Not those that paid deposits late 2023 or early 2024. Those people should be going to the end of the line.

When I added my second charger it showed up as soon as I added it to the app.

I might put my 3rd and 4th in on the weekend. If I do will report back if they show up in the app.

I’m from Canada as well and always had a loaner vehicle when bringing mine in for service.

Just ask them to take a picture of the software screen. All of them have pillar cameras. You can’t tell if it has FSD by the camera.

I just replaced the module and it fixed my issue. I purchased a pair of 2 modules but only ended up needing one of them.

One of my handles has a dead light. Where can the lights be purchased? I would ask Tesla but they would prob just say buy an entire new door handle assembly.

My car (P85D) has the 400 volt battery. I might have to try this. I found they advertised incorrect HP’s on their website for the P85D’s though. For the price of their units if you had to do it again would you buy another one? I assume you bought it direct and not 3rd party?

It’s very labour intensive to complete. I’m not surprised they charge $920 labour. I did the retrofit on my X myself. I’m a very mechanical person and it took me way longer than I figured it would.

The car prob charged to 100% then stopped charging and gave the charging complete message. Then vampire drained down to 97%

What they are telling you is BS. Yes there is a proper fix for it. Tesla has to replace the back seat. I had mine done. They replaced the back seat and it works perfect now.
