This is not completely accurate information. Vin allocation can occur right at the factory or a bit later after build. There has been no vin allocation for anything built in 2023 to Australia.

EDD are often wrong and being as far away as your range is there will likely be delays. The go to position for Tesla in the event of absence is to request someone else pick up the car.

The EDD ranges are often incorrect. If your car was stuck at Port Kembla recently , the ship did not pass quarantine inspection and was bug infested. The cars were not released. Given there are not many deliveries at the moment they may be a little bit more flexible than normal. Otherwise...

The cheaper vinless tier is all about pre vin focus (it doesn't cover any shipping/tracking discussion). If you then get a vin and want to switch to the higher shipping/delivery tier, then the incremental cost is prorated for the numbers of days left in the current month until your next month...

Vins are always first, but Tesla order of telling you it isn’t consistent. Hidden vin is normally first, then invoice has vin on it issued a few days later (except if trade in), then you can request an invoice from Tesla if you don’t have one. Tesla don’t always issue invoices consistently...

There has been mutiple days of Y RWD builds. Checking for a vin manually or with the vin finder is the thing to be doing each day. A y Vin begins LRWY in the source code of the manage page of your Tesla account

We aren't too far away from seeing the first builds. Some Shanghai RHD were built recently for other markets.
