If you don’t want to drill, you can just attach with double-sided tape. I removed the ugly plastic bracket from the front of my S and have my number plate stuck directly on the front bumper - follows the same curves as the bumper and looks nice I think.

Given their prices, if you’re in Sydney I’d do some further research. The “special” Model 3 deal is arguably not very special. I paid a LOT less to get my Model S done by a specialist in Artarmon.

Agreed! I've had silver 19" slipstreams, sonic carbon 19" slipstreams, and now 21" arachnids (what I've always wanted). There are some great looking aftermarket wheels but I prefer the factory-style look as well.

I agree with a few here - the wheel arches on the S are too big for 19’s - a 21” wheel fills them out nicely and drastically improves the look of the car (in my opinion). I bought my S with silver 19” slipstreams, shortly after I had them painted in sonic carbon... liked the look more, but...

I had someone last week scrape the front bumper on my Model S - damage looked quite bad until I peeled back the PPF - no damage to the paint at all!

Considering I was quoted about $450+ GST just to wrap it professionally (in fake carbon fibre) I thought that was pretty good.

The price went up a bit (I sat on the quote for a while!) but yea - $935 + GST for parts and $155 + GST for labour. I just got the parts only as they couldn’t fit in installation until April (they have their hands full with the Takata Airbag recall) ! It’s a pretty easy swap out so I’ll change...

By the way @Icey how do you find the Carbon fibre interior for holding up against scratches? One of the reasons I don’t love the glossy wood grain is it’s an absolute scratch magnet (and I’m OCD).

I’ve wrapped mine to test out the look (removed the panels to do it properly) and I’m pretty happy with it, but nothing beats the real thing; even if other people don’t know the difference - I do ;)
