Range Loss Over Time, What Can Be Expected, Efficiency, How to Maintain Battery Health

    1) I discharged often to sub 0% . But I never charged immediately after to 100%. I charged often to 100% , but usually on trips . But, when I dropped it to 0% (or when I charged to 100%) I never noticed a direct influence on NFP. (at least not in the next immediate period). Nor the temp is a...

Range Loss Over Time, What Can Be Expected, Efficiency, How to Maintain Battery Health

I add: 61000 km. Yes, usually I charge for what I need for 2 or 3 days. SO, When I'm able to charge regularly from 20-22-25-28% to 60% the NFP goes UP. When I change style , the BMS reacts And Yes I'ts me. I was Unhappy because of 79,6 kWh when new and 73,9 kWh 11 months later.

I have to disagree (even if I consider you a guru along with others here in the board ...). You EIVISSA defined in the your board (the german one) that the BMS of the 82,1 kWh battery is a DEEVA! Mine is for sure a Deeva with its fluctuations! Based on SMT ( OK it's not the Bible....) but when I...

Never changed the to 19 or 18" I use SMT and I monitor NFP , at end of the day i update the Excel . I was so happy because the last 6 months the car started to show a relatively constant value on NFP (77kWh to 78kWh). Now in the last 2 weeks (since 25 april when I re started to charge in AC) I...

About degradation is curious that I had my over 50,000 left FREE supercharger km EXPIRED at 25 April 2023. My car is a 49000km old M3 Perf (march 2021, 82 kWh Panasonic 2170 cells), charged from end of march 22 Exclusively at Supercharger from 10-20 to 55-60%. So I started again to charge with...

Range Loss Over Time, What Can Be Expected, Efficiency, How to Maintain Battery Health

Just installed in the past night the 2023.6.8 update. Something went wrong (sure for many Italian Owners). It seems they changed the constant and/or mixed some value (km with miles calculations). Something in the equation is wrong. The energy screen is displaying 1,5x to 2.0x consumption. If...

Yes, always sentry OFF during night. Yes sleeping sub zero and sleeping over 90%. Following days , if the trend was Donward, it continued to be downward, If the trend was Upward, it continued to be Upward regardless of actions I made letting it sleep at low and high SOC. Range Loss Over Time, What Can Be Expected, Efficiency, How to Maintain Battery Health

I tried 3 times to recalibrate the BMS to stop some "not believable" NFP reading , 2 times when the NFP was in a strong DOWNtrend and 1 time when it was in UP-trend. Discharged and left sub 0% , charged to 100% and left at about 90-95% some hours then discharged again. But all the times if a...

Just an update on my Tesla Model 3 Performance (march 2021 with exactly 40.000 km). The rollercoaster continues: 77,0 kWh NFP and 486-487 km Range. Basically always Supercharged since April 2022 Up to 58%-max 60%. More (up to 90% 95% if during trips) , but at the first rest always under 55%.

Thanks @AAKEE . Yes, you are right but i can't do it (yes I can, but if I have not a really need to do a long trip there is no a good reason to waste 500km or 75 kWh). But even thinking to try it, I see a pair of uncertainties. In my opinion it has to be performed whithout a stop. so in a real...

if you put -3% this means that you are with 3% more than intial capacity? BTW you can connect the car to ABRP and have many parameters related to your actual car (Tesla Password needed). The degradation in ABRP (at least for my 2021 Model 3 Performance W/20") is not really correct because it...

Range Loss Over Time, What Can Be Expected, Efficiency, How to Maintain Battery Health

An Update on the ROLLER COASTER of my 03/2021 M3P with E3LD 82.1 pack. (31K km today) I wanted to see where it ended to rise. It stops to raise up to 79,6 (just like when new), and I had no time to perform a 100% charge because when I decided to, it started to plummet at 1 kWh "chunks" every day...

Sincerely i don't know the Average SoC and Average temp. A tesla Guy (when I was concerned about my NFP at ONLY 73.9kWh after 10 months) said it was around 37% Average SoC. Basically here the temp averages about 10 to 12 more °degrees than Sweden. About MIC MP3 battery I don't understand if...

    Disappointed by 20" Michelin PS4 S

Thanks, I used 4 Michelin Pilot Super Sport (old tires DOT 2016) just before to install the PS4S . They were with better feeling (stiffer sidewall feeling) but obviously they were a bit slippery due to age. Definitively I preferred the Pilot Super Sport, but in the wet they were very dangerous.

I don't know if I have the time to do a similar test. I could try if i find a day when I'm at 30-35% Soc and only 150-170 km left. I want to do it a day... the only concern is to do the 100% to 0% (or even to -4,5%) in a single trip. Stops will screws the results. Today I discharged the car to 0. What I obseved is that cell imbalance were near 40 to 50 mV when at 5 or 6 or 7%, so I decided to go near zero to monitor...
