The $2500 is factored into the amount you owe; it shows in the breakdown. For example if the car including the doc fee is $60k and you put $2500, then you owe $57,500. Then you factor in your $15k down payment, which brings it to $42,500. Then you can either also pay the taxes out of pocket on...
I would target a used RWD long range... there will be a ton of them on the market when the Y becomes more widely available, and they'll probably be right in your price range. In fact I've seen a few listed in groups online. Good luck!
It's weird, the more I look at it the more I like it and understand the vision. The inside is awesome; I'm sure the outside is not the final product though. I'd like to see them make it closer to a traditional truck by shaping the bed a little better. I won't be buying the truck, but that ATV is...
I actually went through my credit union, it's called Kinecta in Tustin, CA. My guy Hassan set me up with a quote and helped me save a bunch. They do it for free even if you're not a member; they're able to run your info through multiple carriers to match you with the best rate. He even told me...
Also, insurance kinda has a hard time valuing Model 3's apparently. When mine was totaled they valued it above what I paid for it! Needless to say, I took my check and kept my mouth shut:D
My guess is it's totaled. I went thru something similar and my insurance initially said they could fix mine, but ended up totaling it after the shop did their assessment. I've heard this is common with Teslas based on all the sensors and things built into the car. I hope this isn't the case with...
I totaled my model 3 and still have my aero covers... was planning to sell them if you're interested, seeing as I have no need for them anymore =*( Only thing is I am selling all 4 as a set. Shoot me an email if you're interested! [email protected]
Try living in Orange County... it's as common as the Honda Civic (also a beautiful car... why won't Honda make that one all electric?). But that was Elon's vision, to aggressively transition the world from ICE cars to electric.
Yeah your insurance is good now, but if you ever need to use it, they're gonna fight you tooth and nail on everything. I'm crossing my fingers for you though
UPDATE:
The person at my insurance I was working with escalated the situation to a manager, and they decided to refund me the total cost. So I guess situation resolved. But this shop is still getting the worst Yelp review, and any other places I can review auto shops.
As a reminder, DO NOT...
haven't dealt with them directly, but in my experience funding loans for Teslas, you need to have the Motor Vehicle Purchase Agreement prior to funding. This is usually a couple of days (2-4 maybe?) before your delivery date.
Doesn't happen immediately but it's very soon after
I wish I could've. I called and they said they couldn't take me. Literally everyone except this place that was within a reasonable range was booked. Hopefully in the future Tesla is better about getting parts out. Or maybe an aftermarket will spring up that can salvage parts from other totaled...
I'd love to, but the S is too big for my garage. (I live in a historic home at the moment; it's just a 1 car garage.) Plus my wife and I are tall people so it'd be easier on her back to not have to bend over trying to situate things.
Yes, it's called the Bureau of Automotive Repairs. I think...
Hey everyone,
So, I totaled my Model 3. I'm super heartbroken because I've only had it for 6 months after waiting 3 years. I also just began to upgrade it (bought the Evannex frunk/trunk lifts, new tint, etc.) so that part sucks. My wife and I are having a child, so I'll be getting her a mom...
Got this info from my guy at my credit union; Kinecta FCU in Tustin, CA
These are the "As low as" rates for new 2019 vehicles. They assume a .25% discount for auto payments from a kinecta membership and top tier credit. Increasing the term increases the rate, and upon approval you're required...
My guy at my credit union can help. They're in CA but they can do policies in TX, CA, WA, OR, NV, and CO. Shoot him an email at [email protected]. They can run your info thru multiple carriers to get the best deal for you!
To be clear, Tesla does not finance loans. What they do is partner with the big banks and shop rates for you, then match you with the bank that has the lowest rate and payment. I'm sure they receive some sort of kickback or incentive for it.
These are facts... the premium sound KNOCKS. I never used to care in my old car, but I noticed the difference in my LEMR on the first day and it blew me away
I got my policy thru Kinecta FCU in Tustin, CA... My guy Hassan was able to have them run a policy thru multiple carriers so I knew I was getting the best deal. In fact my rates didn't really jump that much. PM me if you'd like his info; he did mention they can only do policies in CA, WA, OR...
try Kinecta FCU in Tustin; easy to sign up and open membership to anyone in the US mainland. Also can provide GAP and an insurance quote. (714)259-1354 ask for Hassan
Thank GOD you had Sentry Mode on! I would be so pissed, my head would explode! I hope this person's insurance skyrockets. Her blatant disregard for your car is appalling.
@roman415 Not necessarily. I actually put a lot down, and I plan to own this car for more than 8 years. My last car I owned for 12. The longer term thing only comes into play if you're one of those types that switches cars often.
I got mine from Kinecta FCU in Tustin. 84 months at 4.49 (didn't have top credit, otherwise it would be lower; but the payments fit my budget!). Super easy and no hoops to jump thru!
