Hey guys! I just now joined the community and currently I'm living on the Kona side of the Big Island. I don't have a Tesla yet but have been saving up since January back in 2020 so that I can put a good down payment towards a SR Model Y. Im only about a month or two away from reaching my goal...

I am due for a renewal of the safety inspection and wondering if anyone has used a particular place they can reccomend? I have never had an electric car safety inspection before, do they drive your car for this or just sit in it and work the horn/lights?

Does anyone have any recommendations for auto body shops on Big Island, ideally on the Kona side (or even near Holualoa)? Would love to take my Model X to a shop that knows Teslas and does good work. Thanks so much.
