19' Gemini Widest Tires?

So I got a set of the factory 19' Gemini's for dirt cheap and want to use them for a "track" set. What would be the widest tire width you could put on without rubbing? I was thinking 275/40/19s since the car is slightly lowered.

I've got 275/45's on my Gemini's. Work fine, even on the road. I wanted some curb rash protection.

What did you end up using for tire and sizing? I’m thinking about same size tire so the tire doesn’t look stretched and is actually designed for a 9.5” rim. It is about 10% heavier though.
