Gone through arbitration today.

Tesla Rep is one of their lawyers and he did it via phone conference.
It’s an interesting process.
First, I was allowed to state my claim and this is after the opening statement from the arbitrator.
Next came Tesla Rep who kept saying the same thing as their emails to me in the past.
I had the closing statement though.

Will see.

FWIW, FYI.

Arbitration is non-binding to the consumer BUT it is binding to Tesla, according to the arbitrator.

During the arbitration, just as I thought, their lawyer sounded like he read from a script which is a lot of mumbo jumbo.
Basically, he stated just like what I've already been told by their people.

OTOH, he made a crucial mistake by making as his last statement that and I quote "For a car with around 80K miles, it is normal to get only 162 miles at 100% charge". All along, their technicians mistakenly stated twice that my car has only 11% degradation which is normal.
In reality, my car now is more than 21% degradation.

Will see what the arbitrator's decision turns out to be but I am ready to take the next legal step(s) if necessary.

Got the arbitration decision back and it's not good.

Despite all overwhelming evidences I submitted and presented, the arbitrator still sided with Tesla.
My car is now down to 160 miles at 100% charged.

Time to consider a lawsuit, possibly class action one, against Tesla.

Shame on them.
