All pictures shown in the ad are of the actual car. Car was fully detailed on 4/25/2015 at Unique Car Care in Boston ($425).
Selling my pristine 2014 Tesla Model S 85kWh with 16,800 miles after having moved from CA to MA where my daily commute is now walkable. I purchased the car while living in CA and picked up the car directly from the factory. Car spent almost its entire lifetime in CA (mild weather, good roads, etc.). I would love to keep the car, but I simply cannot justify it when I walk to work every day now.
Total amount spent on the car was $105,791 (i.e., $95,791 after rebates). The base cost was $94,070.00 before tax and $102,291 after tax. Additionally, I spent another $3500 to put an invisible plastic film (Xpel) over the entire hood, front bumpers, and rear bumper to protect from rock chips and damage. In addition to a thicker paint sealant (Opticoat) being applied over the entire car. You could peal the plastic layer off and have the original paint in flawless condition as it came from the factory.
Condition: Always garaged, no scratches, no door dings, no dents, no scrapes on any fender. Xpel clear film protectant, Opticoat paint protectant. 1 wheel has minor curb rash.
Options: Leather seats ($1,500), Parking Sensors ($500), Dual Chargers ($2000 - for 2x faster charging), Smart Air Suspension ($2250), Glass Panoramic Sun Roof ($2250), Tech Package ($3750 - folding mirrors, auto lift gate, lighted door handles, etc.), Fog Lamps ($500)
To purchase this exact car new today from Tesla, total cost (ignoring tax) will be around $93k up front ($96.5k if you consider the Xpel and Opticoat), over a 1 year wait to receive the state and federal tax rebates bringing the cost down to $83k (or $86.5k with the Xpel and Opticoat), as well as waiting 2 months for manufacturing and delivery of the car.
**Asking $74,000**
