2016 Model S 60 with Highway AP and AP2.0 - How do I get the side camera to work?

So I believe I have a late 2016 S 60. I have the side cameras but whenever I use my backup cam, I only see the rear camera. Do the side marker cameras works on my car? I have Highway AP and AP2.

Lately, my screen been going out once in a while for a few seconds while driving. My back up camera is also working 25% of the time. It says “camera unavailable”

Does this mean my MCU1 is going out?

I wonder if my backup camera will work 100% of the time if I changed to MCU2? Just trying to figure out if it's worth the $2250 to upgrade. I have a Model 3 Perf and Y Perf at home to drive as well...
