2016 model x

I recently purchased in August of 2021 a 2016 model x p90d with 42k miles. I love the car it's fun to drive and have no issues so far. I want the cybertruck like many and now that it's delayed for a while not having a warranty makes me nervous. I have read many posts about people with older model x issues and high repair costs. My dilemma is keep this car or trade in for a new model 3 because the new x is way more than I want to spend. With the new model 3 I would have a warranty and some peace of mind until the cybertruck arrives. Just looking for some suggestions.

There are third party warranties available X-Care posts on this site and you can read comments. You can pick range of coverage times as well. Tesla direct warranty might be available, but is not always.
