im looking to buy a 2016 model S. i really do not want a refreshed front bumper if the vehicle did not originally come with one.

Yes easily they made refreshed model in May 2016. Anything with a manufacturer date of 05/2016 or later is a Facelift Nodel S. They will also have the AP1 sensor in the bottom grill. Even if they use a custom grill like my friend does to cover it you can still see it
