Did you figure out what caused the issue?

I’m also curious as to how you reversed the mod. Did you just unplug the gen 4 ECU + bundleofwires, pop in the old ECU. Then reinstall software via service mode?

I did exactly what you described: unplug Gen4 ECU and bundle of wires, plug in old ECU, and reinstalled software via service mode.
